    Caliper colour

Thanks, As I suspected so i'll stick with those if i change.
  2. Made up you've found the car for you and it's still a Corrado. :) It's gone to probably the best home it could. As for not needing to touch it……. How long before it's pulled apart and made even cleaner?

    Caliper colour

They are just the standard 280's, I wasn't ever going to change them as in fairness they are fine for how the car ever gets driven. I'm tempted to go 288's or even 312's but then they limit any future wheel choice.

    Caliper colour

Ok Ok it's a bit of a girly thread but here goes anyway. Just after opinion on what colour you think works on calipers for a blackberry? Do i stay OEM with silver, Go for black as it stays cleaner or dare to go for another colour like red?
  5. RS's are just perfection! Red centres look amazing on those against a silver car.
  6. Ah yea thanks, Don't suppose you have or anyone else has a link to the correct ones? I was gonna ask what you used as i was going to nip out and get shiny new bolts. Yes I've had the Recaro's in for a little while now, Just finish off the interior as far as oem+ equipment goes. :)
  7. Thanks for the comments, I'm glad the wheels get a good reception. FINALLY she's off tonight to get a few underneath jobs finished off like painted subframe, new track rod ends, discs pads etc ready for an MOT soon. She doesn't need these doing it's purely for cosmetic reasons so i can preserve new parts rather than try and restore old.
  8. Those wheels are the icing on the cake :afro: One of these days i'll have a set. Other bits look very tidy too. **Edited as read the other post and glad to see you got sorted re the Damper**
  9. A little bit exciting update or at least I think so :) Spent over an hour just washing the old girl and giving her a very quick coat of wax until I have time to get the machine polisher out, Still needs a coat of Gtechniq on the plastics but that'll have to wait as i ran out. Then fitted some new shoes. Some of you may recognise the wheels from a certain immaculate silver VR thats kicking about the place. Have to say they look a hell of a lot better in the flesh, pics really don't do them justice. Thought they are more OEM in style than my last set. Hope you guys approve :)
  10. Look great! Will you be running them Sunday?
  11. Not much to update, NO LONGER FOR SALE though which is great news  Mrs managed to find work so we've removed her from scale and already started on getting her back on the road ASAP. Updates to follow this week after a good wash and polish :)
  12. I've been after a set of those Chris if you can send me any details?
  13. She might be reluctantly up for sale but i've decided sod it i'll crack on and do a few jobs in the hope that she doesn't go and keep this thread updated. it's been about 4 months since the Corrado has been started as after a few attempts at charging the battery it lasts no more than overnight. New battery time, On offer at Euro car parts was the lovely S5 ultra powerful battery discounted to £60. Whilst the old batteries out I gave the battery tray the obligatory clean off. £15 of Vpower and a few cranks later she hurts back into life, Once the old petrol was out the lines we were back in business. Running smoothly :) Next job, Off to get the front end stripped down, bearings replaced and possibly look at al the wishbones, arb's and track rod ends etc done too.
  14. You're inspiring me to keep mine! :afro:
  15. Nice to see you've been keeping up with this! Good work! :)
  16. It's with a heavy heart I write this advert, Unfortunately my other half has been given notice of redundancy or we would not be selling this car. Its a 1994 VR6 in Blackberry. 186k with FULL service history and two bags full of receipts. MOT/tax has just run out All electrics work i.e. sunroof, spoiler, windows etc, full black Leather recaro's and usual VR6 spec. Needs a front bearing which will be replaced in the next couple of weeks so prior to sale. Full details of my time owning the car can be found in my build thread, It's had a lot of work carried out to it. We used this as a daily for about 6 months then soley as a car to go to shows. This will not be split nor will I be swapping parts like seats so please don't ask. £3995 Feel free to email at [email protected] as it'll get the quickest response. If my other half gets a job soon this will be removed from sale however needs must and all that. :(
  17. Sadly the Corrado fell out of favour and was driven onto my driveway and stayed there without turning a wheel. Plenty of thoughts about selling but fingers crossed she'll be off to get the bearing and caliper sorted over the next month. Thanks for asking
  18. Would you split the callipers from the discs? Just after a set of calipers to send off for a refurb thats all.
  19. looks really tidy this! I do like a silver Rado. :)
  20. WOW... Just logged in for the first time in ages... Hurts my eyes its so bright, Personally not keen on the colour but hey you cant please everyone! :) Other than that have to say the speed of the forum is better !!!!
