Nice to see its back !!!

Nice choice!
-
You can buy these as retro parts for around £90-120 but according to my dealer they are obsolete parts now! So picking these up for half the cost of retro parts was a bargain !!!!! It was a case of right forum, right time !
-
Collected these tonight: OEM roof rail/strips..... Not copies but OEM ! Hens teeth i'd imagine. I'll be removing my old ones prior to its detailing session and refitting these.
-
You still doing these Dave? Vr6 i'd be after. Do they come with the new bolt/screw and i noticed the above picture has a rubber washer under it, Is that part of it too?

Thanks for the comments everyone, The tyre size has gone from 205/40/17 to 185/35/17 and its made a massive difference to the look whilst still not being silly and unsafe! I was never happy with the previous tyres as the sidewalls were too much and didnt make the wheels look anything special. Should get the ride height sat where i want it now. ---------- Post added at 8:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:42 AM ---------- Thanks !!! I've been looking at Air for the last two weeks and its because i keep reading your build on Facebook :)

They'll look great, one of my favourite wheels for the Corrado

In answer to the initial question no its not illegal. The Police work hand in hand with insurance companies these days. They do need a valid reason to look further however i'm sure some young buck at the roadside giving it lip would create enough reason! Makes no sense not to declare the modifications anyway :bonk:

Nice work Chris. Mines all been held up by the new arrival and losing the garage space so its sat in the open air :(
-
Well not nearly as much progress has been made with thee Corrado as i'd hoped over the winter as our little arrival has taken up a fair bit of time... Spare sub frames and wishbones sat disassembled awaiting powder coating and will realistically have to wait until after Ultimate Dubs now. Collected some new tyres at the weekend for the BBS's and got them fitted today. Pleased with the look now, more like show wheels and the stretch isnt silly! Next job is split them down, polish the rims and replace the rusty bolts for brand new ones. Few jobs to get sorted for Ultimate Dubs in March as we have the Corrado inside the hall this year, :) Fix the windscreen wipers that have come loose due to being frozen, Lower the car to correct height for the new wheels and get some camber dialled in.

I'll take the rubber mirror gasket.

Nice work mate, Going to look great! My stuffs all away getting blasted and i'm collecting up new parts as we speak...... Update to follow! I reckon its manifolds!
-
£20 EACH !!!! Man they seem dear for bent pieces of metal :/ Think i'll look at having mine blasted and coated.
-
Spotted this black one outside its house about an hour ago, Looked gleaming! If your serious about the car let me know I could always view it and let you know if its worth a trip.
-
£400 seems optimistic tbh, Price varies so much on eBay etc, perhaps £250- £300 max.
-
Dave i'll take the drivers side pls

After a late spec drivers indicators in what ever condition... (other than smashed) Wanted for winter spec to save the new ones. Must be cheap :)
-
Just to resurrect an old thread.... I've got this problem too but ive the uprated wiring loom fitted. Ive changed the relay that came with it and still no joy :( Is there a relay for the dipped beam ? if so where?
-
Just to keep this thread where i can find it.... Pretty sure the Rangie could drive right over if i raised the suspension... Not really any updates as such, Losing my garage space unfortunately so she's broken out the box for a week until a new rental garage space is available. Had a good run out today with a couple of impromptu picture for good measure. Powder coated subframes, new calipers, brakes, hoses, bushes, track rod ends, better fitting tyres and ride height coming soon too!
-
"THEY WONT FELL OFF GOOD USED CONDITION, NOT NEW!" Perhaps with the massive profit on his good condition yet still need Blu-tack to stick on he should pay for English lessons!
-
Apologies ive just seen this post, I'll update with pictures for those that asked.

Collection only on these from Preston or Chester....... Or you sort a courier. Front and rear subframes and wishbones from a VR6 (Jays car) Bought as i was going to get them powder coated but i'm going to have too much on with a potential house sale and baby on the way. These are sat in the way now at the side of the house. Decided i can get my own powder coated as and when needed as the cars no longer a daily. Paid £80 for the lot so would like that please. One bolt on the wishbone has the head snapped off so needs removing.

It doesnt get used daily in winter, but it'll certainly get a trip out on nice dry days.
