  1. Gaz, Stan is pointing out the lucky/unlucky driver was Mrs Walesy! :D
  2. Wow, great car to learn to drive in!
  3. I do like the S14A but it'd have to be a touring. I think they look pretty good from the front and that's about it. But surely the point of having a second car is to have a more sensible car? Or does he want two good cars? And Walesy, is that a learner's L plate on the rado? :)
  4. I bought one a while back for the heater panel in Halfrauds, can't remember the rating but take out the one in there already and buy one with a similar power rating.
  5. A bit of yellow insulation tape will do the job! ;) Very nice wheel by the way.
  6. Deluk, look here: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=49877 I'm in South Manchester/Cheshire. I've done a lot of miles in mine - used as a daily driver to Leeds and back (110 miles) and the fuel consumption isn't bad provided you're not sat in long queues or absolutely hammering it.
  7. Have a look at mine! £2.5k...
  8. I heard Lancaster put Corrados on classic policies hence the price - can't remember if there is a mileage limit though.
  9. I'm still thinking Rodders.....and I keep changing my mind :? Will decide for definite over the weekend I think.
  10. Latest pics taken originally for my (now deleted) for sale thread after a clean.
  11. Hmmm, engine sounds great, I only like it from the front; side on it looks like a sqaushed Cayenne crossed with Subaru Legacy estate. Might make an interesting second hand buy in many years time although I think the RS2 and RS4 both look better.
  12. Very cool! The oak green looks really good under the sun. Shame we only get a glimpse of the 993!
  13. Yeah same here for the engine note and 4wd and the optional sports seats! Although I do prefer the mk5 GTi's black grille and wheels. EDIT: Yeah depends on if you can justify the extra outlay, especially considering the GTi power output can be upgraded to match/exceed the R32 for less than the difference in price.
  14. I was driving 110 miles round trip daily for over a year apart from a three month period of 450 miles every weekend earlier this year. All in the VR!
  15. Not seen pics of your car in a while Bally, looking very cool!

I used them once a couple of years ago and service/delivery was absolutely fine - no problems at all.
  17. Best wishes for a speedy recovery Chris.
  18. I used to have the same problem quite frequently but it rarely happens now and I don't know why! Possibly due to the ISV being cleaned but can't say for sure. With regards changing down through the gears on approaching roundabouts etc my instructor initially taught me to shift down the gears sequentially but that was just to get an understanding of matching the car's speed to the gears and subsequently taught me to shift directly from fourth or fifth straight into the suitable gear, be it first or second. I think the main thing instructors/advanced motorists emphasise is matching gear selection to both vehicle speed and the conditions/situation, i.e. consider whether or not you're going to need some acceleration in reserve as in at roundabouts.
  19. I saw one around recently that seemed to have a bit of a bang, parked up. Think it was a debadged N reg though.
  20. Same here, mine runs much better now after a clean up and running those checks :)
  21. Spotted a VR about 5pm today leaving South Quay Plaza near Canary Wharf, looked standard. M *** JAD
  22. Thanks Kev, answers my questions on a similar thread I revived.
  23. By the way the MAF is on the side of the ducting after the airbox.
