Had it serviced yesterday so treated it to a wash and wax although I had a hard time finding suitable shade.

I don't have the luxury either, mine's a daily driver. I do pamper it but I can't justify keeping two (or more) cars until I have serious cash.

There's a leather sleeve on the handbrake handle. Does yours not have it daves16v, ? By the way the handle can be a bit troublesome to get off you just have to be gentle but firm!

Dark metallic VR6 L* RTY on the A6 in Stockport this afternoon around 5pm then I saw it again parked outside shops in Heaton Mersey around 8pm. Seen you once before as well. Looks very clean.

I have RAC cover - not the top cover but not the basic version either. Paid around £60 for personal cover in any car including transport to anywhere in the UK provided I'm at least a quarter of a mile from my home and also got joint cover included in that which is personal cover for another member of your family. Called them out once when my aux water pump went and the guy seemed to know his stuff and arrived quicker than expected.

Hmmm after all this I'd add that I'm considering a pre-Evo E36 M3 - having driven one I was most impressed by its sheer grunt. But not sure if I can bring myself to part with my C and I can't afford both! :?

True - by the time you have detected laser the chances are a reading has already been taken - it relies on laser signals bouncing of other vehicles in front of you to give you an early enough warning.

I have an Origin B2 and can't fault it although it isn't cheap.

Probably my last post for 3 weeks as I'm off on holiday tomorrow. Saw a M reg blue VR6 at the roundabout at the top of Kingsway in Fallowfield about an hour ago.

I saw two 16 valvers in Manchester on thursday evening. A red H reg just off Deansgate around 7.30pm we exchanged a nod and then a black G reg with Wolfrace alloys in the King St NCP not huge wheels but suit the 'rado very well. It also had cruise-cad.com stickers or something similar so probably not someone here!

This has also stopped it from stalling when coming to a stop off the motorway - so far anyway!

Spotted a burgundy metallic H reg in Oldham just off the M60 half an hour ago - didn't see you til you were past me so didn't wave.

My screen has been replaced in the past by the previous owner and although it doesn't leak and the job appears to have been done very well I was on the motorway a couple of weeks ago (chasing a blue storm) and heard a loud thud. After establishing I wasn't about to die I pulled over at the next services to find the top ection of the outer windscreen seal flapping about on the roof whilst the rest was still attached. So what is best for sticking it back? It doesn't tend to come unstuck unless I am doing three figure speeds.

If it's any help it's probably a Scorpian dealer fit unit. Try a Scorpian dealer.

Thought I had solved this problem but this morning it was doing exactly the same thing even when it was cold. Anyway after a little wd40 on the throttle spring (what's it called?) it seems fine. Either this worked or I inadvertently moved a loose connection but it starts ok now. That's about the limit of my diy on cars!

I put some Texaco super unleaded in mine last week and I may have got a bad batch but it was running noticeably worse, I normally use Optimax and have tried Ultimate a few times and I can't tell the difference between the two.

agreed.... shite engines! Yep I should know I had one for a while! :oops:

Can't help with the rest but the green lighting is supposed to go out on the switch when you go from side lights to headlights - well mine does it too anyway.

:D My younger brother does that all the time, he's 11 and rings or texts me when he's sees one because there aren't that many around here.
