I know a friendly pikey who comes to my local garage collecting scrap. Pays £5-10 per used battery and anywhere from £10-£70 per cat. Depending on size and type. Allegedly cats where the two halves are welded shut are worth more than those which are pinched shut. I don't think it's because youre a girl. It's because you're a random stranger selling one cat. It's more who you know as well as knowing worth.

I'll always listen to sensible offers :)

195/40/17 on a 7.5 up front. 205/40/17 on a 8.5 rear. It's not a nice ride per say - You feel everything on the road. But it's not crashy or loud one bit. On smooth roads such as Newcastles finest; it's spot on. I'm running Weitecs so the cheap version of your Coilovers. I ran 195/50/16 before and the ride was very smooth and comfortable. Maybe as what's already been said, try and find some smaller wheels with a larger tyre profile to try?

Hello, I would really like to sell it as one. Sorry.

I have my eyes on a nice leather interior so my current interior is up for grabs. It's from a very late 1993 (15th December '93) and has covered approximately 130k. For sale will be the front pair of seats, rear seats including the hump and all four door cards only. The drivers seat is nice and firm still, very minimal bolster wear which still has the foam inside and you can't yet feel the metal innards. On the lower part of the seat there is a little nick on the fabric, and I mean little (see pictures). The passenger seat is mint, as are the rears. All four door cards are not cracked and are unmarked, no water damage, and all of the fixing clips are intact (I actually renewed the majority of them last month) - so they fit very well with no creaking or rattling, and I mean non what so ever. All of the screw holes are perfect and non of the fabric needs re-gluing. In short all of the interior is in a very very good condition, if I want to be truly anal they would benefit from a interior shampoo or wet vac (no permanent stains or anything nasty on there). I feel you will really struggle to find another set as nice as this for sale - I've not seen any anyway (I'm sure someone might prove me wrong though?). SOLD to: BenwoodUK ALSO: I have my spare set of late pillars for sale, that's both A, B and C pillars and the single C joining piece which goes across the rear of the roof. All are in a good condition with no cracks to the structures what so ever and the fixing mouldings for the clips are unbroken. These have no fabric peal, rips or tears - They do have the odd mark/indentation here and there but nothing major to mention - Overall they are pretty damn good.. A-pillar pair - SOLD to Neuon2003 B-pillar pair - £20 C-pillar pair - £20 C-pillar joining piece - SOLD to Neuon2003 If you require I will re-new the felt on the exterior which will vastly diminish any interior squeaks and rattles - I did this to mine and it's practically rattle free now. if you want this just ask me. These items are located in Sheffield, I'd rather not post due to the size and with the risk of some delivery chimp ruining them. But If you want I can place the seats on a pallet for delivery, expect that to be around £50. The pillars can be wrapped and expect about £10 a pair, I won't charge double delivery for 4 as I can wrap them together etc - I'll wrap to the best of my ability and show photo's of the items wrapped to make sure you're happy with them, but due to the nature of the items on your head be it. :) Thanks for looking!

I have one, but in Sheffield. It's an hour away so not too bad if you are really struggling, It's from a 91 G60 and in perfect working order.

The problem here is that nobody will want to take ownership. From what I've understood there is a German seller, a contact/intermediary, then Rams the buyer, then you have eBay and the shipping companies, German and English. eBay won't do a thing because he's not payed via thier approved method of PayPal, the contact is just a middle man - other than liaise what else can he do? The seller could simply turn around and say not his problem. The couriers will blame everyone else but themselves - I guarantee that. Was the shipment insured? Was it fully insured? Are wheels covered for insurance? Can you prove the true value of the wheels? We're they packed correctly? Can that be proved? Can you prove the wheels weren't damaged before they were sent? - these are the initial questions a courier will ask. They'll then also argue you signed for the goods or a neighbour did and you/a neighbour should have checked them first. I know honesty IS the right thing to do. Morally speaking. I was brought up to have good moral, ethical values. But you have to understand that it's business. You're against not only a seller who has your money (and you have some broken expensive wheels in return) a seller who knows, if he chooses - doesn't have to do a thing to help you.. But also you will fight a company which it's sole existing purpose is to make money - they know the law, they follow the rules, make thier own terms and exploit them. By lying and saying they never arrived you cut out a lot of arguments they will make that simply you can't prove - its not unethical, it's just business, fighting fire with fire so to speak. The choice you made is the 'right' one. But I'm afraid to say be prepared for a very long winded fight and/or an expensive bill. Edit: this is a voice of relentless experience with couriers and damaged/lost items. The claim process will be long winded, any response will be long winded, any info they require will be long winded, if/when the claims rejected your appeal will be long winded - all designed so you give up because it's not worth the effort. Trust me, after 6-12 months of chasing and feeling no further forward than day one you just think **** it.

It's a m12x1 union for a 3/16 pipe. Confirmed. Thanks for the offers on the pipes but I'll be using a mishmash of Corrado/Golf/Passat brake/ABS parts so need custom solid lines - I already have braided flexi's.

Yep, I'd say that's a Vibratechnics mount. You can actually replace the rubber insert on them as they do eventually fail. You are missing a cup from the standard mount which bolts to the three studs on the 2nd picture. Although it's not vital. I believe it a safety measure - maybe to stop the mount getting damaged or falling fully out?

Does anyone know the size for the male brake union which goes into the VR6 ABS unit, specifically the larger diameter union? - On my ABS unit, the very middle union is larger than the rest but still uses the standard 3/16 pipe. I believe the standard male brake union size for the Corrado is M10x1 (3/16 pipe).. I believe anyway. Would I be correct in saying the one larger union is M12x1 (3/16)? Can anyone confirm please?

Try and get hold of a Polo G40 steering wheel. Very very similar to a Corrafo one, but smaller in diameter. OE+ I've been watching your car over on E38. Really liking its progress. I'm often up in Newcastle with the Mrs (she's from Prudhoe), wouldn't mind taking a gander at your VR...

Yeah, just the bearing for the VR6 type topmounts. the earlier style mount is obsolete and the bearing is integral so can't be changed..

I'm looking at getting a aftermarket steering wheel, mainly so I can run a snap off boss for security purposes, but also for the look and feel. What wheels have you guys got? Pictures would be awesome foursome! :lol:
