  1. Obviously struggling to shift it. He's dropped £34650 in the last 3 days :|
  2. Well, my shopping list already totals £500+ Thankfully all the bits I need aren't obselete (with the exception of the beige trim than goes around the gearlever gaitor). Mechanically the car is sweet, it's just stupid trims bits that are broken or missing :D BTW, thanks to Supercharged for coming with me to view it :salute:
  3. ...registered on this forum and since I first said I wanted one, I've finally put a deposit down on G60SC_Stoney's Classic Green VR6   I'm as happy as a pig in the brown stuff!! After a month of trawling the internet and freeads for 8v/16v's and finding nothing but dogs I came accross his rather attractive VR6 and decided to spend a bit extra. Although that now means I have two VR6's; should put a few more points on my shell card! Bit worried about the chains though; they were done 8000 miles ago by some dodgy Guy going by the name of Toad's Motors? Best thing is though that it's already running 263 cams and koni's. So my only expenses so far will be a few trim bits and a bloody good service! :salute: Plans are to change nothing (except whats broken) and keep it as original as possible :salute: I'm due to collect it Saturday evening and then will be at Stoner Park with it on the Sunday so see some of you then!
  4. They used to, but it's now obselete.... ...and cost £845.00!!
  5. Good to hear you got it home sage. I'll be waiting patiently tomorrow morning for pictures :)
  6. I was watching that on eBay but wasn't ready to buy at the time. You got a bargain there ;)
  7. how can you do them so much cheaper, well £9 cheaper?[/quote:1l8f0ma7] As has been said I'm a Parts Manager at an Audi Centre ;) The RRP of these arms went up this month to £118.00 inc VAT so thats 19.5% discount and free postage :)
  8. I now stock these (thanks to pianowire and supercharged ordering so many from me  ) so if anyone wants them drop me a PM. Gone are the days when you could get a set of these for £70.00 . The exchange rate and general price increases over the last 3 years have meant these are now an expensive mod. I can do them for £95.00 delivered (UK only) should you want them :)
  9. I'd better get a valver before this episode comes out. I can see a repeat of the Top Gear episode where suddenly Joe Public thought there ropey 1.8 16v's were worth £5k
  10. Get us some pictures, i might be interested :)
  11. I was keeping an eye on pistonheads too for that one ;) It's mad the amount of people don't respond to enquiries about cars for sale. I've emailed 5 people in the last week and not one has responded to my enquiries and that includes two traders!!
  12. Against a remapped ST? No problem 8)
  13. A few years back I remember someone had some 'Are you a cnut?' T-shirts made. Can these still be gotten hold of anywhere? :D
  14. Just curious  Still hasn't sorted out that hair has he! :D Hello all to those that remember me ;)
  15. As soon as the official pictures come out and as long as they look okay, i'll put my deposit down :) Two conditions; Has to be German built (Had enough of this unreliable Spanish/Portugal built crap to last me a lifetime) Preferably to be called Corrado; The word Scirroco reminds me too much of vynil and 80's haircuts ;) Oh, and preferably a Diesel version, LOL! I had a similar experience when I was invited to see the Q7 in Ingolstadt early last year. When asked to describe it in one word I just said 'Powerful', shaking my head. The Germans looked at me as if I was nuts!
  16. Wetberry indeed! ;) I never really got a chance to bed them in before I sold the car to be honest, but the bite though the pedal was deinfately much better.
  17. Nice one mate; your even worse than me for changing cars!
  18. Heres the actual car then :) This was before I cleaned it this afternoon  700 miles to a tank anyone? :-P
  19. where's windscreenwashman when you need him? LOL; "Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's windscreenwashman"
  20. LOL, probably. I haven't checked yet
  21. This is what your your Corrado parts business has done for me  Just kidding of course; I wish! :(
  22. I really wouldn't recommened buying a Cupra TDi, they're just too tempremental and the market is flooded with them at the moment. I lost £3300 on mine in 8 months!
