  1. The 117B and 118B are the later versions. Note to Kev: I need to teach you some things about ETKA! :)
  2. Stone Roses (plus John Squire and Ian Brown solo stuff) Charlatans Led Zep The La's New Prodigy album Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
  3. Haldex is used on the TT and S3 as well :? and you'll probably find 90% of the 4motion drivetrain on VW's is the same as Quattro anyway
  4. Thats like trying to compile a Rocking horse shit register
  5. This is probably the 'local' Campaign thats around Ipswich. Never seen it but I always here its usually around Copdock/Tescos area at the weekend.
  6. The only Corrado I've ever been in was a P-reg VR6 :D Didn't realise they we're that rare!
  7. Quite lucky insurance didn't know about the rear axle before they began the repair, otherwise it'd probably sitting in a scrappy by now! :( Still, another one saved! :D Hope to see it soon :)
  8. OK, I own an FSi so I already know the benefits of Optimax (42mpg normal 50mpg Optimax :D ) But do you see any benefits in a 16v Corrado? I spoke to a 16v owner at the local Shell garage today who said he gets 35mpg on normal Shell. But does anyone regularly use Optimax here? (I know! 35mpg in a Corrado is good enough, but I'm greedy/poor/tight :) )
  9. Saw a clean, red H-plate 16v in Shell Petrol station on London Road in Ipswich. You'll know who I am as I had a quick word with you (35mpg, proper bo I tell thee! :D )
  10. If Mark @ Just VW/Audi doesn't have one. PM me and i'll give you some discount on the nox sensor, can't promise a massive saving though.
  11. Cheers, at least its around 92>> so I hopefully won't have to add any more to the Corrado fund! :D
  12. Oh right :( Any idea exactly when the later style interior was made avaliable?
  13. Ardleigh Crown Pub sounds good Kev :) If I remember correctly theres quite allot of parking space at that Pub too.
  14. Does anyone know if the 1.8 16v's and G60's were availiable in post facelift? I finally had a chance to have a good look at Corrado dashes at E38 today and I prefer the softer look of the later dash 8)
  15. Saw that at GTi International, can't remember if it was a GT or G40 but either way it was a waste of a good car.
  16. Yup, silver new shape Polo. Only use Audi's for when its work related  I also saw a Green 92 Corrado 16v (think it was a 16v, just said 'Corrado' on the back) yesterday at about 5:30pm with polished Estorils, front bonnet lip spoiler and debadged grille on the Housing Estate not far from the Ipswich Tescos, very vague location I know! Bloke with longish brown hair driving it. You were parked just outside a group of shops (Co-Op is the main one that springs to mind). Oh, wouldn't mind a meet. If its alright for a little Polo to pop along
  17. Not yet. Twilight Violet one sold yesterday. Deciding between another Corrado or World Tour ... Don't buy another one. I want to be able to have the chance to buy one before you write them all off! :-P
  18. Saw kevhaywire this afternoon on Wherstead road, Ipswich just by the Railway bridge at 5:25pm. Would've waved/flashed lights to you mate but I've had such a bad day at work I didn't even have the energy to move my hands
  19. What shape is the bodyshell in? Heres an idea... 1) De-seam rear 1/4 panels. 2) Scrap car (nothing-£150) 3) Sell 1/4 panels to forum members/Ebay and make even more money out of the car. I know deseaming panels is a pain in the arse job. But when a new one costs over £500, it suddenly makes it seem worthwhile :) Anyway, it'd be a shame for a scrappy to send it to the crusher when the 1/4 panels could have gone to good use.
  20. Green/Blue G plate Corrado with 17 inch alloys and front bonnet spoiler at Tescos car park in Ipswich today. *Think* it was a G60. Was about 2:15pm today. I was gonna go and introduce myself to see if it was anyone from here but I was imagining what a tit i'd look!
  21. OK, we have five people so the GB can go ahead :) I have the following people confirmed; julez (possibly 2?) Campaign Andi peterl brookescourt You will all get a PM very shortly :) @ STORM2: I have been hearing these rumours ever since the original Road Angels came out, so I take rumours like that not with a pinch of salt, but a Gritter Lorry
  22. Saw Kev (well, his roof!) at the top of the Ski Slope (Wherstead Road) in Ipswich this morning at 8:47am :)
  23. Thats a bit unfair, its VW who are the greedy arseholes :) The prices dealers quote are VW RRP, but they'd probably only get 12.5% profit in a wheel of that age. Problem is (not sure if I speaking for Solitudes as well?) most VW BBS wheels are made especially for VW, so BBS refuse to sell them to anyone else but VW Germany! I remember Polo GTi owners hit a brick wall when trying to source wheels direct, they just refuse to speak to you! So basically, Price to VW Germany: £75 Price to VW UK: £90 Price to dealers: £250 RRP: £270
  24. £260 plus VAT for a BBS wheel? Thats a bargain! I've just had one of mine replaced on insurance after someone drove into me and the wheel was £370 plus VAT! Seriously though, for a genuine wheel that is quite cheap! You've gotta think of it in terms of demand, cost to make a batch due to popularity and storage etc etc.
