    That's cack mate! I have nightmares about that - maybe we should start up a Corrado Grant scheme where people can donate money to forum members who can prove that their cars have been damaged through no fault of their own to help with the repairs. Anyone think this is a good idea? I'd be happy to send a few quid to a fellow member who had bad luck.

    I agree with GIXXERUX - I did mine earlier in the year and it wasn't too bad either. Think G's photo is better than mine though:- Was well worth it though - looks much better.

    Way I feel about it is - I'll never have owned a brand new Corrado but I'd like mine to feel as close to that as I can manage. If I could have my Corrado perfect it'd be as though it had just come off the production line to look at - with maybe just a couple of wee alterations under the skin - better wiring loom for the headlights, lupo wipers and a few wee chromed interior bits.

    Thats spot on bojmobile, some of thes cars can be 17 years old so i think a bit of modernisation such as wipers,cd/mp3's, headlight looms & maybe a midgies off the 4x4 look are allowed, while essentially keeping the standard look which imo has stood the test of time better than anything else i can think of !! Well said that man! :thumbleft:

    I've done my gauges MKIV style - but I still see that and the likes of Lupo wipers as just evolving the car still within the VW original idea.

    looking good guys - I've got my Speedies in the garage at the moment - planning on getting them refurbished in the summer. Solitudes are nice as well though. What's the deal with the plate Tom?

    Hey guys, I've modified my Corrado quite a bit since getting it two and a half years ago but have always tried to keep it looking original spec. I like having mine faithful to how VW styled it - even if some people say "take some air out the arches" :lol: How many other people have tried to keep their's looking "as new"? Put up a pic if you can - seeing original spec ones aint that common these days.
