I'll be buying my new one Friday... Let know if you do want it... I'll repost when I order it

http://www.snstuning.co.uk They will sort you out. Although I'll have my old sns chip available soon... It's mapped for 68mm pulley on a stage 4 charger with anti lag... I'll do it for half the sns list price posted.

Does anyone else have a young girlfriend?

I know that feeling well... I've moved out for over a week now, hence getting bits sorted on the rado : D -
Yeah it came from bartek. I'm going to replace my apex strips when I do the map as I don't feel they're sealing very well. Can definitely feel the difference in it tho
-
Fitted my 65mm pulley and red top injectors... replaced rubber fuel lines whilst i was at it. Will take it out later to see what difference it makes. Just need a map not to fully suit it

I think your best bet is German eBay... Although be prepared to pay approx £50 for it
-
To add a little more confusion g60s with a larger tyre/wheel were fitted with longer track rods too I believe there was about 15mm difference
-
Can I have second refusal... Mines missing about an inch on the end nearest the handle... I assume the previous owner fitted one off an early car
-
Perhaps a temp sender similar to what is used on the engine oil sending a signal to a gauge mounted somewhere
-
What sort of price are we talking for a chip for red tops and 65mm pulley, rev limiter at 7k and anti lag. The isv code is also interesting although I have rerouted it to the intake but may aswell have the limit raised to 1 bar if possible
-
The dealer should be able to get any parts that are available from classic parts. I was kindly informed this by my parts guy
-
Got tracking and camber done again!!! The bolts that secure the ball joint to the wishbone snapped on my way to work so had to replace them... They were febi ones bought from AVS. Used the ones that were fitted previously to replace them
-
Damn... A couple of days late. Ended up buying one from Germany.
-
Replaced passenger top mount with genuine one. Replaced ecu vacuum hose... Old one measured 85cm??? May explain a few issues at full tilt. Replaced both door catches... Passenger door now sits flush again :)

Check the fan is secure to the housing and cowling and that the cowling is secure to the rad.

I even considered going smaller on the pulley but im not that brave. My charger is very strong :) all run in after i rebuilt and ported it to death myself :) 16 psi at 6000 rpm after a little tweak on the cam timing... pulls like a train now, keeps most other cars in check
-
I very rarely get close to the redline on the engine recently so have decided i can have the smaller pulley :) I want to shift the torque down the rev range a little to suit how i drive it... besides i want to compliment my new redtop injectors with a little more boost when i do use the loud pedal :8

Setting the ignition timing/possible boost problems/Tappets
owen g60 replied to laurielaeks's topic in Engine Bay
I had a tapping noise for ages... turned out to be the alternator clattering around... a rebuild sorted that out. As for the low boost, it wouldnt be caused by the wrong chip pulley combo... the only things it can be are boost leaks in the pipework or an unhealthy charger. -
Took this picture outside work this morning. Very shiny indeed

Hi guys As the title says. Does anyone have one kicking around in their tool box?? Or where can I source one... Jabba don't do them and can't find any other people who will ship to the uk.

I do get a few looks as the g-lader isn't exactly what you would call quiet. As for driving it as a daily. I have never had a second car and I don't see the need to. My dad gets asked the same question about his triumph rocket 3 which has a rotrex charger on it... Approx 290 bhp at the wheel as he also uses it every day regardless of the weather. I would rather have something I enjoy and use than it sat in a garage gathering dust hoping for a few sunny days.

I found them on eBay. I searched for "red injectors" found a few and asked what the part number on them was. 0280 150 945 is the part number you require. I'll redo the map on the road when my friend is free... He will use the base map and tweak as necessary... I've had pretty good results so far doing this

Got it near enough back to how it was... Spent a couple of hours with various compounds and polishes today and borrowed a mop to speed things along. Still a few scratches but miles better than it was the otherday.
