Now i agree with you Nigel! The car has suberb handling at those speeds. But i did not like the 145mph feeling either... :twisted:

Yes it was a slightly hot day... But i don´t think it´s because of that... :roll: The car is so much powerfull now. I thought it would be much more faster too! Although i think your Jet speed box is different from mine (dated 1990). :? What next? - Ultra-sonic fuel injectors cleaning? - Check for engine compression / wear ?

LOL... Speed limit here is only 120 Km/h, 75 mph! :lol: I did it at 3.00 am. :mrgreen: The chip cuts out at 7000 rpm. 8) But i cannot rev higher than 6000 rpm is 5th gear...

Ok... I´m running SNS Stage II chip + 3.5 fpr + K&N Panel Air Filter + Brand New SuperCharger + 68mm Pulley + ISV Check Valve. The car is much more powerfull now! Lots of torque! Wheels spinning even in 3rd gear!!! :shock: I am very happy with these mods. :D But i went to an horizontal highway and... only 230 Km/h = 143 mph! :wink: The engine revs very fast, but i cannot go through the redline in 5th gear. It gets stuck at 6000 rpm. Is this normal? Good? Should it rev higher? What do you think? :?

That relay sound is normal in ABS cars. My G60 does exactly the same at startup. And in the traffic too! When i am pressing the brake pedal for too long... :roll: Don´t worry mate! 8)

Check your battery voltage... :idea: I had the same problem when my battery was about to die... :wink: When the radiatior fan was running the door locks never went down.

I would also check the ignition coil for correct output voltage... :idea: A dodgy voltage can really mess up your running engine! :?

Thanks Gavin! :D My idea is to place the sensor in the same hose. Just to place it on the other side of the oil feed hose. :mrgreen: The pressure must be the same acording to physics. :-P I need to do it or i will always drive worried... :oops:

My charger´s oil feed hose got blocked. :shock: Nothing happened in the dash. :? No buzzer sound and no lights came on. I am thinking to place this oil sensor switch on the other side of the oil feed hose, just next to the charger. :idea: Isn´t it better? At least i will know when the charger is not receiving oil... :wink: And i wont mess up my charger again! (it is still being rebuilted). :(

I know there´s no connection... But it seems like a dodgy ignition switch! :lol: Get a multimeter and check vital points! That´s what i would do... :?

Have you only changed the oxygen sensor :? I hope you have done it with the ignition off or even the battery disconnected... :!: What kind of sensor have you bought? :idea: The entire sensor including harness and connector? Or you another type of sensor and had to weld the wires?

I now there´s a lot of controversy about this... :roll: But here in Portugal from now on BP declares on their website that Ultimate fuel is 100 RON and there is the "100" logo in the fuel gun. In the FAQ... "...Question: Which it is the difference in comparison with the BP Super Plus Unleaded 98? Answer: BP Ultimate Gasoline 100 is formulated with even a higher index of octano, better cleaning power and lower sulfur content, by what offers significant benefits regarding our product BP Superplus, even independently to have been a big product..." Well... i am convinced now... But they won´t have me as their custumer! It is the most expensive petrol around here! :shock: I much prefer the regular 98 RON or even the Shell V-Power with 95 RON... :wink:

G60 burning oil... :roll: I would point to the charger! But check it out first! Check the charger´s output pipe to see of there are signs of big oil leaks. If so... time to replace oil seals! And clean up intercooler... Does JabbaSport offers guarantee on that situation? :wink:

Don´t worry mate! That might just be the connection between the speedo cable and the cluster unit... :idea: It isn´t difficult to replace (if needed). Well there´s not much space to work there... :wink: But it´s no big deal! Try to take it off to inspect. :)
