White G60 I think, Going into Gosport this morning C***JON. Anyone on here??
-
I think they are still available from the stealers, about 50-60 quid when I asked a couple of weks ago. 8)
-
Know the feeling. My pump packed up a couple of days after yours. Must be something in the weather. Corneleus is in the process of a 200bhp (I think) Scirroco project, should be interesting :)
-
Rob, Was it you whose aux water pump went the other day??
-
Has anyone own one of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 3256072886 The supplier is in France and will ship to the UK. May be worth a group buy if enough people are interseted 8)

Run, would be better advice at that price. Future Classic or not, there are plenty more fish in the sea.

May be worth getting in touch with the previous owner to see if they can provide any info. Corrado's wear thier mileage really well so act with caution. What sort of money are they asking? I know of a couple of decent 16v's which have made around the 1700 pound mark, one with history and one without. Good luck :)
-
I have a spare copy on video, as I had asked a mate at work to do the honours, just in case my vid decided to pack in. You can never be too safe :D 8)

I remember seeing it ages ago, but will definately be in front of the box at 19:00. My memory isn't what it used to be
-
It's gone :( for the princely sum of 1715 quid. Sorry that you didn't get it. May your quest for a decent Corrado continue :) If you find any that are not a million miles away, I'm always happy to give it a once over. Thanks for the stars   Whatever give me a shout when you become a proud owner (or even before) and we'll sort something out. Not that I've anything against Orion Drivers    Wonder if the new owner is a forum member?

Discovered the other day that my Corrado has two speed intermittant wipers. Actioned by pushing the wiper control from the off position downwards gives the slower option. Raising the arm fully up and then back to intermittant gives the faster option. May be of use to those who may have been behing the curve as well :D

I wasn't casting doubts upon the seller, just raising it as a point to take into account. The car first came into my hands nearly eight years ago with approx 86K which was high mileage at the time. Mind you it was sweet and cost me very little to run. :)

Didn't have electric windows when I had it :? The handles are still there :D Derek have pm'd back
-
That's where my first love affair with the Corrado a started :D Agree black alloys need to go, mind you there will be no problems with brake dust
-
I sold the car with brand new 100+ silver 16's on it. I originally purchased it from Walker Car Sales in Portsmouth with I think 86k on the clock. Del 68 I hope that you get this Corrado as I would love to think of it being local. I'm only four miles from Emswoth, and also have family there. May be able to sort our a reunion with my old motor :D Also would help to boost the local Corrado population

It was mint when it left my hands, which makes it worse. At least it's still on the road I suppose :)

Don't know if anyone on here is bidding on the red 16v on ebay at the moment. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... egory=9873 I owned this car 4 years ago and sold it to fund my VR having only lost 750 pounds in three years of owning the car. A point for thought is that when I sold the car it was showing 120K with full history. Now the car has no history with 140k mmm. The way I could tell it was my Corrado is because I had it re-upholstered, and was therefore easy for me to to spot. I still have some old photos if the new purchaser is out there.

Just been fully topped up with G11 coolant, and purged of air after changing the switch :? Belts OK as well. The mystery continues :)
-
I'd rather have a broken one, than have one looking like that

Pump now replaced, turned out to be seized as well as leaking. Also replaced rad fan switch. Still got the problem though :? Help
-
Thanks. I have had the fan checked and it runs at all speeds. Forgot to say that the temp sensor is being replaced. The aux water pump is leaking as well so needs changing
-
Looks like the aux water pump 80 quid :( 10/10 Vdub bug 8) Getting it fitted tonight though :) Thanks to all for the advice.
-
Where is it located and is it something that can be cleaned or easily replaced? Cheers
-
Seems like every time I come to a stand still for more than a few seconds or parked up after driving a few miles my radiator fans kick in, the temp gauge reads 110 deg when this happens and the temp soon drops. There's loads of water and no sign of any leaks. Any ideas? Guess this will take priority over the duff sunroof :(

Your 10cm jobs should fit in the dash though :) Might be tight in the grill depending on the make.
