I may be selling the cloth interior and door cards from my 94 VR. All in VGC (almost excellent) with no holes in the bolsters, black with blue fleck. The car has never been smoked in. What do you think they are worth?

I visited there today for a quote :shock: :shock: I have had work done by them in the past and it wasn't that good. I went into Horndean Crash Repair Centre (Enterprise Rd) who were very helpful and reasonable. They are currently working on a twin engined golf which I'm going back to have a look at once it is out of the oven. I think I'll get then to do some work on the Polo and if it's up to scratch they'll probably get to do the respray on the C.

I'm on a similar quest at the moment and will be shopping round over the weekend. I'll let you know how I get on.

Installed my new wiper mechanism after being without wipers during a week of near constant rain. Good old rainX! Top tip .... it doesn't work for snow :scatter: Fitted a new Alpine head unit which has too many adjustments to cope with.

How did the replacement go? I will be ordering the parts tomorrow as I now an wiperless and will probably have do the job this w/e. Any advice would be appreciated.

Went to venture out in the rain yesterday and my wipers stopped :( Had a look today and the short arm connecting the motor to the mechanism has come off at the nearest poit to the scuttle panel (if that makes sense) I have tried to push it back on howver as soon as the wipers are switched off it just comes off again. Is there a "fix" or do I need to get new parts? If so how much of the mechanism do I have to replace and is it going to break the bank?

Looks good! Was this an all windows out job? and if you don't mind me asking, how much. I'm going for a respay this year and need to know how much I'm going to have to pay.

I have used strips of vinyl flooring stuck with a bit of silicone sealant at any points where the doors may make contact. This has been well worth it on more that one occasion.

The VR passed it's MoT first time again yesterday. Sixth year in a row :shock: :D However I was advised that my sump gasket is begining to leak. Is this a DIY job?

I would personally rather pay £7k for a good low mileage Corrado like yours rather than over 7k that was paid recently on Ebay for a Mk Golf with 23k on the clock. Good luck with your new C you've got what you want and that's what counts.

Got an new windsceen fitted and managed to get the scuttle panel replaced free of charge under my insurance policy. MoT next Tuesday!!!

Does anyone have any advice on the pros and cons of having a respray done in the "friendly" water based paint against the older two pack system? I've started to get quotes and have been offered both :?

I don't think the spare he's taking out of the yellow Corrado (in the workshop set) is a space saver. Mind you he may be the first to get 24" rims on!!!!
