1. Scabby carpet for just under £200 http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-RHD-BLACK-INTERIOR-CARPET-TRIM-COVER-LINER-/391685855431?_trkparms=aid%253D222007%2526algo%253DSIC.MBE%2526ao%253D1%2526asc%253D20150519202351%2526meid%253D4fc4898824b3487cb18f865aea930f2f%2526pid%253D100408%2526rk%253D2%2526rkt%253D25%2526sd%253D282469465547&_trksid=p2056116.c100408.m2460
2. Love the way he starts the description with "I want to sell". I bet he does at those prices.
3. Thanks. I keep an eye on this thread to see how you get on. One of my door seals has a similar split which has been there for over 20 years. I would like to get it sorted if it's a relatively quick fix.
4. Are these easy enough to replace? I mistakenly thought it was an integral part of the door.
5. Price for the in tank fuel pump please if it's the type with the fuel level sender attached. Please PM me. Thanks.
6. Can anyone help me on this one? I have asked on a couple of MK2 forums and have had no joy. If anyone has access to a VW parts catalogue could you confirm the part number for the Idle Stabilisation Valve. The year of manufacture was 1988 and it is an 8 valve model.I have a feeing that it may be the same part as fitted to the 8 valve 2 litre Corrados. Many thanks in advance.
7. Always a nice feeling. Wish me luck, my Corrado is about to go in for its first MOT in three years. Just need to get a leaking power steering hose fixed first.
8. After a long hunt I have managed to get a second hand pump. I think new ones are no longer available. The one listed by ECP for a VR definitely doesn't fit.
9. Do you have any details of the GSF one please? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
10. I have tried both suppliers with no luck. My thinking is that it may not be a totally sealed unit and the actual pump part can be replaced using one from another pump which doesn't have the fuel sender. This is turning out to be a real pain, for something which should be a straight forward fix.
11. This is the one which has just been removed. The rubber which seems to hold the pump part in situ has disintegrated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
12. After buying two fuel pumps. One from ECP and the other from Ebay which was apparently removed from 1994 VR6, neither of two the pumps fit (they are both the same) Having looked at the one which has just been removed from my car, I need a Peirburg one which is round and not "D" shaped like the two ones I have purchased. The existing pump has the fuel level sender mounted on the side. I am not sure if this is a part of the pump or can it be removed and fitted to another pump? The upshot is I still need a replacement pump if anyone can help? Thanks.
13. If they are that bad, perhaps a local engineering company could machine to corrosion off?
14. I was thinking for those who have cloth who would like to upgrade. Door cards optional.
15. I guess black leather standard fit may be one of the most popular. The cost would be a potential issue.
16. Good news. Thanks for the info.
17. My car is a later model (94)
18. Thanks for the info. I did ask them to double check. The guy said he cross referenced the OE number to be sure. There's only one way to find out. I'll post the outcome.
19. Thanks. I have just ordered the PVM one fro ECP part no 441440541. The pic looks different to the original; however they have confirmed that it is the correct fitment. Came in at £72.14 with discount. Let's hope it fits.
20. Gutted. It needs to be for a VR. Thanks anyway.
21. Went to get my Corrado on the road today. Had to call the AA out as it would not start. Turns out that I need a fuel pump. Can anyone help? Thanks
22. Is the fuel pump the in tank one and does it fit a VR6? If so I will take it if it's still available? Thanks
23. Time to bump the average up... 54. On my third Corrado which I have owned for 20 years. Had a 16v for four years prior to that. All are still on the road
