Yeah i know about the 16's, i have a horrible set of woulfrace wheels that clear them with a 5mm spacer Also its not the ofset that i am trying to find out, the offset is the distance from the verticle center of the wheel, i am trying to get a measurement from the face of the wheel that sits on the disk to the inside of the spokes. Bill from badger 5 was saying that roughly 38mm distance here will allow clearance. Know what i mean?

Hi, i am getting the ibiza cupra R brake conversion for my G60 I am looking into heels to fit it I looked on the ibizacupra.net site and no wheels there really grabbed my attention I am wondering if anybody has AZEV A's I know the 16's wont fit the brembo's but have been told the 17's will If someone has a set of 17's i am looking for the measurement between the inside of the spoke and the mounting face of the wheel, is it 38mm? I realise it is a bit of a wierd question, but i kinda think they would leek good on my Corrado with the big brakes. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Only prob is the towing eye I have one to fit and all the associated pipework Soon, very soon!

Spot on, i am from Ireland, and have nothing but praise for him, and lots of my mates here too!

As henny said, Nitromors is paint remover, There is a gel one now, something like that. Be VERY CAREFUL that stuff will destroy anything Leather, like door cards or seats. You could always look out for a passat to get some of the bits? Maybe consider getting the handles treimmed in black leather to contast the interior? If i were you i would be on the lookout for a passat or corrado being broken! I do love the colour though, youve been tango'd!

Reading from what biggrim said above it may be from a 1992 Corrado G60,,,But i doubt it Its reg date is the first week in Jan 1992, unless one previous owner bought it, but i doubt that!
-
Its just the way its spaced, it doesnt matter to me, i have to register it here and bin the plates, get some nice 92 Irish plates for me! We cant get pricate plates here the best you can do is get some numbers that look like private plates, lie 660 and put a bolt in the first 6, ah well! :?

that will defo do the cv joints, but it will be fun!

Only prob with using the S2 pistons is that the 1.8L block has to be in perfect condition, ie no wear! If you are in California i would be paying a visit to Bahn Brenner. Get some forged pistons (off the shelf there, eip have a 3/4 week lead time, but are $100 cheaper 8) ) Then you build your bottom end, get it fully balanced! You should get your head flowed too, the 2L head has bigger exhaust valves than the 1.8, so should improve the flow. Then as for the turbo, get the one that best suits your driving plans! Road, race, drag strip..... The eip turbo kit is very good, and their inlet manifold is also excellent! You can get a kit off 8vturbo and it will be as good, but they dont have the inlet (could be corrected???) You need a BIG intercooler next, as big as you can get! Finally you will need a new ecu, you cant change those ones in the 16v's to get optimum power. I have friends who have used both eip and 8vturbo kits. Both are damn quick cars and have had problems, but do it!, you wont regret it! Both cars are drivable and putting out about 230/240 bhp with more left in them!

Should do! AFAIK they have the exact same mounting points They wont be as comfortable as gti seats though -
I wouldnt be doing that! the grinding of brakes is a little scarier too! This happens with the brembo's quite a bit! fi you think about it you hvae only a few mm of light alloy held in 4 or 5 places holding your wheels on! Shave this and it will alter what the engineer in BBS or wherever designed as the optimum for the wheels! Optimum being safety also! I wouldnt be doing that! :|

I am going half leather electric recaro's from germany, getting them for about 500 pounds delivered to Ireland I have tried full leather, but it does have temprature issues, freezing or roasting! But the main reason i dint want full leather is because you lide around too much in it! Some of our cars are being used to drive "enthusiasticly" so full leather is not the best for that. Ebay and look for dealers in Germany. Ebay prices can sometime shoot up to crazy amounts at the end, so a dealer is better, they are usually able to arrange some cheap freight too. MJ's stuff is top class, it looks factory, so thats why i am going to get factory stuff its cheaper!

Peogeot 206's have a red tail light, the reflector is green with a clear bulb! Look at one of them!

92 cars are supposed to have abs, but in 1992 the corrado g60 was finishing up, so they seem to habve used what was there, unless you specified abs you didnt get it. My one doesnt have it, i put up a thread on retro fitting it a few weeks ago
-
Yeah, my mate stripped the threads on his h&r's ouch!

Red light + Green light = Orange light, not brown. (look at a tri colour LED, Red, Green or Amber when both are on together... ) Light filter colours don't work the same as pigment colours... that's why the 3 primary pigment colours are red, blue, and yellow, but the 3 main colours of light are Red Green and Blue... 8) Add together red blue and yellow pigments and you get black, add together red green and blue light and you get white light... 8) You'll probably have to use a slightly higher wattage green bulb, but this should work well 8) Thanks Henny, i was starting to doubt myself there! Nice engine i your avitar!

Doesnt look brown, but whats dark orange look like?
-
It will look mre orange than the all red ones, Like dr mat sadi, greeny red, just look at it then 8)

They are H&R"s that your using? Right?
-
Anybody running porsche wheels with H&R's? What have you got? Any problems? Thinking of 17's on my black g60? Anyone got pics?
-
