Hi James, From what I remember it was very low key,there was sales literature but not very much just detailing the differences/options,remember there was only a few to be sold, I will dig deeper and see what I can find as many friends still working at VW head office UK and Germany,will speak soon.

Hi Guys, I'm convinced that car was sold by Scott's of sloane square , I worked for Vw during the eighties and nineties, if you look closely at the plates I'm sure you can see it, it was on everything they sold.

blimey. driving to work this morning in my vr and seen another G reg corrado in red going the other way, weyhill road in andover, first time ive seen another while driving mine.

Yes is that dreaded trim again,desperate to find one, mine is broken around the radio aperture,it's a 1995 model vr6, does anyone Know the part no if i cant source one here, I have some friends in vw Germany parts in Kassel,so the no could be handy for them to try and track down,I know it's a long shot but heh we have to try don't we.

The fact you have so much rattling when clutch not depressed suggests clutch pressure or drive plate is broken up,you will probably find when you take gearbox out all the drive plate springs from clutch centre plate will drop out,all you need is a new clutch kit with pressure plate,drive plate and thrust bearing. Hope this helps.

Sounds like the clutch thrust bearing and or the clutch pressure plate is breaking up,if the prssure plate fingers have broken away you will not be able to select gears as you won't be disengaging drive between engine and gearbox,either way the box will have to come out to see.

Hi We have one of these,all you need to do is loosen the bolt either side which is in the bracket to straighten the top bar,then re-tighten,the plastic screw handles are for lengthening and shortening the bar depending on width of engine bay,hope this helps if any probs I can send you some pics of ours which may help you,but after you straighten it up you will be fine.

Mmm had this happen to mine just after I bought it,check your coolant level as it's possible your heater matrix is leaking,this will account for the greasy oily wet you have,coolant/antifreeze is exactly that,the rear floor is lower than the front so will always run into there,hope this helps

Yes will post some up next week,it is a nice car this is my fourth over the years, had a new candy white one in 1995. So sort of got carried away with this one,however it is looking good now.

Hi everyone, Just thought I'd drop a few lines about my corrado,bought it last year from it's second lady owner,she had it 11 years !!, however after further investigation on my ramp mm needed bit of work, we have rebuilt it over the last 9 months,new wings,new offside metal into sill, then virtually respray it,all new suspension, we are just waiting for a front subframe as the usual wishbone bolts had snapped off, it's looking good though at the mo and hopefully will get to drive it again before winter weather.
