  1. well been done three years and hav'nt cracked
  2. if you get a GOOD one done for that including all the parts and labour thats excellant
  3. you could do what i've done to control the idle then you can change it whenever you need, i find i have to turn it in 1/4 to 1/2 aturn in the winter and then back out when it gets warmer.
  4. well had the first failure on the car in 3 years the other day,the intercooler split on the bottom core :x anyway had a look round at verious places and got some prices to see if they had come down from when i looked 3 year ago,boy they dont half know how to rip you off dont they i got quotes from £550 to£700 for the size i wanted(640 x 280 x60).as i made my first one i thought at them prices i'll be making this one too,had a core made to my dimensions at pace products £176 went to local fabrication shop got some ally which i will cut the end tanks from £5,but i am welding it up my self but the local shop said between £30-50 to weld it if they did it,so in total it's cost me £181 and half a day to make the end tanks and weld them up :D . i know not everybody has good mechanical skill but i'm sure most of you could cut some ally up and take it to the fabricators for welding, save's you a lot of money for other things on the car. i'll post some more pics up when it's done.
  5. i thought it was a bargain from the one's i've been looking at and the price's people were wanting, this guy breaks a few c's and reckons the last grey one he sold went for£720. ps the swedish bird sounds good though :D
  6. use some meguiars diamond cut compound(no85) with a rotary buffer and then use some meguiars dual action cleaner polish (no83)with the pc, brought mine up like new :D
  7. fitted full black LEATHER :D :D ,finally got it after three years, and the bonus point is the wife like's it and NEVER questioned the money it cost :? (not like her).

  11. i thought that as i was writing it looking at your sign, but they went because i couldnt do with the bumpy ride they gave compared to the 16" and they are also very heavy.
  12. mate i binned the wheels about 2 month's after putting them on  ,it's just they were cheap at the time after someone tryed to nick my bbs's and sh*gged them in the process.

    BK 299

i had them for about 6 weeks and sold them, they look good but boy are they heavy, totaly killed the acceleration on my c. not only that i now run 16" and the ride quality is far far better, sorry if i'm putting you off 8)
  14. g-man cut steel strips 1mm narrower than the rain gutter width... weld at 1" intervials with 1/2" welds.....grind back flush....small amount (skim) of filler and the job is done correctly with no chance of cracking / rotting underneath etc.. abit like this then, idont know about 1/2" welds though it would pull the roof all over the place thats why i just put lots of tacks on
  15. well i love the yellow corrado's on there own but when there in a field of blue's,blacks, greens and so on i dont like it very much,it stands out like a sore thumb.
  16. no it wont fit straight in m8,you'll need new inlet and exhaust manifolds for a start and i think there are a few other bits you have to change, not sure what though
  17. i've only got the rear one and it's the thinner of the 2,i think they do a 25mm and a 28mm and mine's on the stiff setting,i think you'll find everybody on here who has the neuspeed arb wont be complaining, having said that i think the front one does make the car quite harsh but its the rear one you want :)
  18. if your going to buy arb's lee get the neuspeed ones they are awesome, probably one of the best things ive changed on my c.
