  1. I got a pair of mkIV calipers with a few thousand miles on them for £80 the pair, they fit straight on to the existing carriers and with the goodridge hoses they work a treat, you need to squeeze up the bracket that holds the handbrake cable nipple as the mkIV cable has a bigger end  Most vw & audi cars i have seen use the same rear calipers so there must be loads in the breakers by now. Baz
  2. Some 16" wheels will fit, BBS RC `s for example. Baz
  3. 90mm, i have a 60mm ish suspension drop and it scrapes all the time but they look better than the 50mm job IMHO, they are quite flexible :) Baz

  5. I have just done the same mod to mine and as dubster says it is very straightforward. You need the later style fogs and indicators. Baz
  6. I know someone with a mk2 16v with an LSD putting out almost identicle power to my G60 and when i drove it i didn`t think it put down the power any better than my G60 Corrado, may have been a different story in the wet though. I think the smooth torque curve of the G60 does put down the power very well coming out of corners. Baz
  7. Cheers Jason, I will be running ET35, but i think i will go for the 215/40, what tyre brand do you use? I was going to get 17" rims originally and had set my mine on the new Yoko AVS sport tyre but they don`t do it in 16" Baz
  8. I wanted to use 215/40 as they are almost identicle rolling radius to 195/50-15 so it won`t mess up my speedo etc, i am lowered about 60mm ish on coilovers. LowG did you run the spacers to clear your coilovers? Baz
  9. Just wondered if there were any clearance problems going from a 195/50-15 to a 215/40-16 cheers Baz
  10. Baz - I think it takes a brave man to drive at 120mph on uneven roads  Steve, I just can`t stop myself  Baz
  11. I went froma mk2 gti with eibach ARB`s, koni ta`s, poly bushes etc to a std G60 and i reckon the Corrado handled better, great turn in compared to the golf, now my Corrado has eibach ARB`s, fk coilovers and poly bushes and it is absolutely brilliant! 8) Baz
  12. I put some in my G60 before i went to the nurburgring, didn`t really notice any difference in temps but it didn`t overheat so i guess it may have helped. :) Baz
  13. Mind you my G gets a bit scarey over 120 mph on uneven roads, pays your money and takes your choice. Baz
  14. + is the bottom of the strut towards the front of the car, that means the VR is a harley chopper as opposed to the G60 a super bike, lol  Baz
  15. Hi Kev, the G60 has +1.55, not sure about the valvers Baz
  16. I think you`ll find that the plus pack cars have more castor on the front as well as the wider track to aid high speed stability. Baz
  17. I have a VR gearbox sat in my garage if you are interested  Baz
  18. That grey one looks the dogs  it is seriously low tho. Still got a hankering for the OZ superlegerras, nice and lightweight, doh i dunno what to spend my dosh on now
  19. In my quest for a new set of wheels I am now thinking of maybe some rs4 audi style wheels, would like to see them on a rado though, can anyone photshop a set of 17`s for me? cheers Baz
  20. Checked with compomotive about a set of MO`s and the 17" weighs 10kg !!! thats bloody heavy, i think the cronos are around 7.5kg in that size. that`s another wheel crossed off my list  Baz

    Oz Chrono Evo

They don`t have the wheels anyway, they just order them in and they told me they can`t get 4 stud anymore :( may try contacting OZ though, i really want a set of those. Baz
  23. my fk`s used to look all shiney like that :( those wheels do look the dogs on a rado tho. Baz
  24. The air fuel gauge will cycle up and down when on part throttle, that`s the ECU adjusting the mixture to try and keep it stoic(ideal air/fuel ratio), it should show a full reading when on full throttle for rich and no reading at all when off throttle over about 1800 rpm, this is the fuel shut off working and full weak reading showing on the gauge. Thats how mine works anyway. :) Baz
  25. I think I may have found an alternative to the crono http://www.rimstock.co.uk/rimstockframeset.htm ,click on the wheel ranges, then pro race three on the right hand side. They weigh about the same as the crono`s, may even think about getting a set in black! 8)
