  1. I think I`d rather not loose the brake cooling duct! I am going to the nurburgring in the summer so I think I`ll need all the brake cooling I can get :D

  3. Your welcome to try my car Rob, that SNS chip makes a hell of a difference, not just to top end power but the grunt available from low rpm is amazing :shock:
  4. I have ordered it from proven products, not sure where I will mount it yet, I also have an air/fuel gauge on the way so I may look into on of those a-pillar mounts.

  6. The numbers should go up and down straight away with the amount of throttle your give it. I shouldn`t worry too much aout the mfa readings anyway, I will get my boost guage next week and see how accurate the mfa is. :)
  7. Can anyone recommend where to get a black face 15psi boost guage?
  8. Tony, when you get info the mfa diagnostics mode there is a number above you digital trip display to show what mode you are in, boost is number 2. The boost readings will be shown to the left in the normal mfa display area. HTH
  9. If you go to the SNS web site and look under DIY it explains how to do this, I just tested mine last night with a 68mm pulley and got a reading of 2000 which should mean around 14.5 psi. :twisted:

  11. Just wondered what boost readings other people were getting. I tested mine the other night with a std pulley but stg4 jabba charger and was getting a reading of 1750 which I think equates to around 11psi Anyone else tried this? sns tuning tips

  13. Hi Kev, didn`t know you had a C! :roll: Remember me with the white mk2 golf with the coded g60 arches? Ian`s mate from Torquay Back to the subject, I always found when it was very slippy that the car would easily oversteer if provoked, I too had koni t/a`s and h&r springs, maybe you just drive slower than me :wink:

They are an excellent mod for the money, keep the car very flat through the bends 8) you will lose some grip in the wet though so be carefull on greasy roundabouts, I had a few scarey moments in my mk2 :oops: Wouldn`t recommend fitting them yourself unless you enjoy grazed knuckles an grit in your eyes :D
  15. They DO fit as I`ve just fitted my old MK2 golf eibachs onto my Corrado without any problems.

  18. How does the oil cooler fit a g60? do you remove the factory cooler and fit the take off there? does your kit include an oil stat? thanks

  20. I paid £610 inc delivery for the fk`s, they are the konigsport type with adjustable koni dampers.
  21. I have just taken delivery of some fk coilovers with adjustable damping, should get them fitted this weekend.
  22. When I bought my G60 it had 121k on the clock with FSH, I immediately sent the charger to jabba for a stage 4, I phoned them to see how they were getting on with it and asked anout the general condition, they said it was in excellent shape with very little wear. You just can`t tell.
