  1. OK Dubster, no need to rub it in The only thing that puts me off the super t`s is cleaning the damn things Baz
  2. They still show the superleggera on the OZ web site http://www.ozracing.com , looks like the Crono has been replaced by the OZ Record How much for your wheels Dubster? :) Baz
  3. :( Damn, just got some money together for a new set of rims, tried to order some OZ cronos and apparently OZ don`t make them anymore  , does anyone have any pics of a corrado with 17" OZ superleggeras on? These are my next choice.
  4. Nah they are rubbish mate  you`d be better off with some koni coilovers 8) Baz
  5. Hi Kev, yup I remember your old black valver :D This fault with my passat happened all of a sudden, but we have been carrying a lot of weight in it recently, guess i`ll have to get a second hand box from somewhere  Baz
  6. Help! my workhorse car (89 passat 1.8) is making a juddering noise when under any kind of load, also when jacking the front wheels off the ground there is no resistance at all when spinning the nearside wheel, just like I am spinning a rear wheel! (it doesn`t try to turn the opposing wheel) does this sound like a diff problem? car has 190k on it. It has a cable change box which externally looks like my g60 box. Bugger!!! ta Baz
  7. Top man!!! that`s defo the wheel 8) http://www.bilprodukter.no/felg-dekk/bp07-brio.html thanks for that Baz[/img]

  9. Hi Folks, just bought myself a damaged VR and would like to complete the set of wheels on the car (one damaged) there are no details on the wheels apart from 7x17 et35. thanks Barrie
  10. Excellent! thanks Mike. Barrie
  11. Anyone know how different the vr and g60 exhaust systems are? I have been offered a stainless vr system for £200 but don`t want a load of hassle fitting it. thanks Barrie

    17" BBS

I heard they had stopped the RC`s in 16" size. Baz
  13. You have a way with words Kev
  14. I have FK`s and a friend has koni`s on his golf, the koni`s are deffo a firmer ride. I am well chuffed with my FK`s, superb ride and handling, couldn`t ask for more, I run about a 60mm drop on 15`s and no arch rubbing at all. and the fks will go lower as they have the helper springs.
  15. my fk coilovers are much shorter (fully extended) than std shocks. Will measure tonite if you want.
  16. Thanks for the advice guys. I did the job on saturday morning, it took about an hour. All i had to take off was the oil filter, I got at the top mounting nut with a long extension and a socket with a wobble end, had to take off the i/c top hose but much easier than it looked. Hardest part was getting the old mount through the small gap between the subframe.
  17. Hi, can anyone advise what is involved in changing the front engine mount on my G60? It looks like i will have to take the silencer box off of the charger to get at the top nut, anything else i should look out for? thanks Barrie
  18. Hi all, is there anyway of adjusting the alignment of the headlights in relation to the grille? The gap between the edge of the headlights and the grille isn`t parallel and i can`t see anyway of adjusting this as the headlights are screwed directly to the slam panel. Any help appreciated. thanks Barrie
  19. I`ve not got nitrous `YET` but dubcharged is just fitting a kit to his car. You could ask that question on the highpower forum :)
  20. A friend of mine is doing something very similar with a golf at the moment, dialinx are building it for him, last time i asked him it was over 10k spent! and more to go. Rather put one in a Corrado anyday :D
  21. I had alook at one at the Malvern show and it seemed to be well finished, would have bought one but ran out of cash, again!
  22. I know a few people who have used the emerald kit but that is still £500+
  23. Harry, have you tried http://www.ridgewayracing .com  Baz

    True or false?

The yellow konis don`t have shortened damper rods as far as i`m aware, they are designed to work with std or slightly lowered springs. I ran mine on my golf for 2 years with a 50mm drop and had no problems though. 8)
  25. What about volkspeeds conversion that uses the g60 distributor and ecu? that should work out much cheaper as the stand alone management that is normally required costs up to £2000 (motec) that conversion also does away with those nasty coil packs we are always hearing about.
