Awesome bit of info mate, really helpful thank-you, im going more and more towards the route of getting a ready to go kit from K-sport, good friend of mine is obtaining me a price atm , if its around the 800 mark then happy days really. You say about the master cylinder? Recon it will be fine for the k-sports, this is the firs time ive really bared in mind the master cylinder, im pretty clueless when it comes to that. Also, this being aimed at anyone, has anyone ever gotten rid of the ABS unit all together? I really want to. -

ive come way to far for that now, the rear cage especially means you could only get the seats back in if you cut the mounts out, tbh though, i always thought the corrado should be a 2 seater. Ive had the back seats out since just after the first year of owning it . Also i have already got recaro speeds to fit in, and TRS superlite harnesses on order to bring off the rear cage strut. noise! that is an issue though, not because its too loud for me, but will be too loud for most tracks i think. Any suggestions? haha

Any pictures mate, you know if the 323 disc set up would fit under a 16" rim? -
Your alive, been wondering where you got too! Yes, where the German scene is concerned its been completely dominated by b ell ends. No longer longer enthusiasts, just the latest cat walk for the rich people and big shots to show how much better they are than you. says it all when you see a car like mine being ignored then some 17 year old with dads wallet winning best car in show with a standard lupo on air ride and 10k split rims.

what ones did you do for? -
Thanks mate, means allot to hear that, sometimes when something belongs to you, you take it for granted. Audio wise, its a long story, ill try make it shor. i worked at oxford car audio "part time", and despite engines and race cars being my life long passion, working their i lost sight of what it is i realy want from a car, from my car, fixated on the "Scene" and static stance shows, a scene now dominated by rich kids showing of their wealth, or companies trying to make you spend money, the definition of a show car being solely revolved around who's arse you kiss, what air install you run, and how much money you spent on your wheels. I booked it in many moons ago for a simple install, once the install day came about and work got underway i soon got lost and caught up in the wild and wacky ideas from the install team at my old shop, loosing sight of my original ideas and end result, i wanted a build to compliment my car, they wanted a car to compliment their build. dont get me wrong, it looked the absolute nuts, but the amount it weighed, i maintained throughout the entire build i need it light and simple, as you can see it was none of these things. I took it to E38 once it was all finished, had it on the Oxford Car Audio show stand then spent the weekend stood next to it parked in a field, it dawned on me, this entire weekend, i had about 4 people actually come and acknowledge me and the car, and these people where middle aged PROPER car enthusiasts, and they didnt even notice the build, only the car and its engine bay. It brought it all home, what am i doing? Ive spent in excess of 20k on this car, and for what? it to be sat in a field/ car park and be ignored because in the opinions of the people im surrounded by air ride and wheels is literally all that matters? That was it, the moment i woke up to it all, my cars a f ucking monster, and from full poly bush kit, to Vibra technics engine mounts, to sub frame replacements to entire engine rebuilds the list goes on and on everything about the car is orientated around how it drives, and my god does it drive. so i stuck more weight in it. WHY? what was a i thinking. the rapid savage speed it once had, it just felt sluggish, i mean im 18 stone alone, let alone with all that in. So current day, ive stripped it all out, and im making it into a crazy savage track/road car for the enjoyment of the person sat in the drivers seat and that alone. Sorry for the life story, but its not something i could explain in a short sentence haha.

oooooooooo pretty, these on yours? Been speaking to K sport, think they might do a full kit for the C for around the 1K mark. Much hassle in fitting them? or does it just come down to fitting inside the wheels and getting the bracket to adapt it? -
Because what's a build thread without pictures haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just seen these two, i took her off the road after MIVW, had a lovers tiff, getting it back and going again, stripped it all out (what a ducking waste of money and time that was) and going towards the race car rather than show car direction. Got some R888s, Devils Own Water Meth kit, Quaife Limited Slip Differential, Recaro speeds and some TRS Superlite harnesses, all going on in the next 4-6 weeks, then some bir boy breaks and as much carbon fibre bits as i can get my hands on.

Afternoon, Thanks for your message. I have considered your message carefully and have also spoken with Toyo UK, this morning. All our tyres are 'brand new' that means that they have never been mounted to another vehicle or used in any way, the term 'brand new' does not relate to the age of the tyre specifically. Every tyre we sell has a different date of manufacture and we don't list them as anything other than 'brand new'. Any tyres manufactured in 2012 or before, would be marked as a 'DOT2012' rated tyre by our supplier and we would be obliged to include this in the listing. The manufacture dates of stock we receive from our supplier vary greatly and we're not able to check everything, due to the turnover of stock we process. However if the tyres were indeed 'DOT2012', we would ask the supplier to replace them. Toyo UK have advised that they are absolutely fine to use 3+ years after their date of manufacture if properly stored in warehouse conditions and there isn't an 'expiration date' as such. The only tangible difference would be that they take slightly longer to warm-up on track, if anything. You are more than welcome to return them to us if you would prefer a refund/ replacement. Please be advised that we cannot guarantee the exact age of any given set of tyres. Let me know how you'd like to proceed. Kind Regards So in other words, P ISS OFF! haha, worth a message.

Hello, I received my tyres last week, thank you for the fast dispatch and promt service. When i purchased these tyres, it was with the understanding they were: "New: A brand-new, unused tyre that has never been mounted on a vehicle." However, upon inspection im now aware that the date of manufacture is 2013, making these tyres over half way thought their life expectancy? This is not what i expected, and am not best pleased. I am not one of those sad people with nothing better to do than bitch and moan about nothing and give people bad feedback and i would like to avoid this at all costs. When it comes to setting up the performance on my track car, i have and will cut no corners, and i especially dont intend to where performance and safety are concerned. I feel like i haven't received the "Brand New" tyres i purchased, un-used, yes, but certainly not "brand new" Please advise how you wish to proceed, Best regards, Charles Taylor lets see how this pans out

Yer, £550, should of been over £600 really, been checking a few tyres since this chat, saw my friend who runs a Fireblade Westfield, one of his track tyre sets are 2008, he laughed when i suggested they are un usable, Im going to message the seller and see what he says.

So, the R888's i have literally just had delivered where made december 2013, should i be contacting the company who supplied them? as according the the 4 years and bin rule they are over half way towards the end of there life span?

its good to know all tyres have a manufactured date on aswell! never realized!

I do understand the basics of rubber as a compound, just thought there a bit more to the rule than 4 year then bin, after 5-6 years im aware they can deteriorate. This is one of many factors towards rubber decomposition, also usage, inflation, maintenance, Uv exposure, and more, That aside, these are nowhere near this age and have been kept on my car that spends 350/365 days a year in a garage. I will get pics n shizz over the weekend when they come off :D

According to whom? certainly nowhere near that old.
