Trying to compensate for added weight u see, hot glue it down use a ratchet strap for a seat belt job done! haha Yer i built them so they sit perfectly upto the back of the existing grill, ill get a picture of them with the cards on later, all i had to do was dremel out a tiny bit of the door card then the inner support bits of plastic in the pocket speaker housing bit and they go straight over. I didnt take me long at all and the acoustic gains from sealing them into the door rather than having them floating in the air in the door card is going to make a world of difference! A Corrado with mid bass!??? :shrug::bonk::dance:

Few more bits done over the weekend. utilizing the existing corrado panel to make the new one! :) I would like to add, all cut outs in this "logo panel" lemi did by hand with a jigsaw, he told me it was laser cut and i had to double look it :scratch: A few more bits were done after i took these, you shall see in the next upload, Trimming will commence today/tomorrow so we are looking for completion this week!!!! ill keep you all up to date

too much to care about haha, the box is the main bulk of the weight, the rest looks worse than it is but has lots of cut outs etc you dont see, and any hidden panels that dont need to be solid for acoustics are thin ply. but yer, i know what ur thinking and im thinking the same, be interesting to see what shes like to drive after, especially after ive been driving it about striped out for the last year. Regardless once those sub are vibrating my life and the vr is growling in the ear im pretty sure i wont have another care in the world.. i will let you know how the handling has changed though!

Couple more panels complete (not including trimming obv) I love how he has made these and kept just enough of the cage and bolt on show to be incorporated and relevant to the build. The eye Lem has for builds and lines and how things work is the entire reason he is the only person in the uk i would want to do such a job. Cleverly designed pop out panels to make sure the lights are still accessible without having the take the build apart.

Right you are Jim, my only intention is to create my impression of the perfect corrado, and i would say i have good taste, everything is being done to nothing other than perfect quality and all ive ever wanted since i had it was to convert it properly into a 2 seat coupe. I said it when i first started this thread and i maintain it to this day, no barry boy chavvy modifications are going on here and none of it is done to "impress" or make a scene or to contradict, its all for my ideology of the perfect corrado. once these are done and the speeds are in and the arches widened and take her down a few mm with some fresh paint and the wheels done i really think she will be something special. I have thrown my life into this bloody car and i finally feel its getting to a standard i can call good. I look forward to everyone seeing it at some point. no. haha over my dead body, i also know what a jl kicks like bro we install them all day long, our demo car has 6 of theses in lol.

I will also add halfords have just been done for another near 50k lawsuit, and all there "DEALS" on stereos are as easy as this.... contact alpine/sony anyone who makes a head unit... ask what huge bulk deal they can get on whats left on the shelf and didnt sell sometimes 4/5 year old (sometime even older) stock... put it on the shelf for a week at its full rrp on the day it was released.... a week later mark it down to 50% of that value to what its actually worth... then tell everyone about your amazing 50% off deal.... Halfords are good for cleaning **** granted... but thats it imo... sorry ill stop spamming your thread with halfords abuse haha
