Welcome to the forum bro... and i take it you mean TH lines? sounds like you got the write attitude as well! -
Seems everyone is to polite to ask..... im not.... What did you pay for it? and you on about the Z Engineering one? the advert looks a bit dodgy! the seller has types one sentence to sell an entire stage 2 charger kit... would go careful of that.

I spend way to much time peeving on the Bar-Tek website haha
-
yer man you should get a good one for that.. thing to do is try to buy one thats not been modified, also DONT ever buy the first one you look at... get an idea of the market... i looked at about 4-5 and in the end got one for 1.7k. the corrado market is a strange one with **** ones priced high and good ones priced low... browse ebay, car and classic was also a good one seems to attract a more respected seller... feel free to post any adds your interested in on this thread and me and im sure a few others will have a scan and let you know what we think. Also dont always be put of by the mileage as sometimes the higher mileage cars have had more reconditioning work done to restore parts and overall make it a better buy already replacing the things that may not yet have ****ed up on one with less miles

easier to get a second hand glass online mate... and the seal is for wind noise rather than water imo... its designed to let water in and disperse is down the drainage channels in the pillars. If you do get leaked on, it will be a blocked drainage channel over a sunroof glass seal

With no relevance to your question just thought i may bring Bar-Tek to your attention (http://www.bar-tek-tuning.com/) they are a seriously sick VAG only tuning company in Germany offering everything from valve springs to complete turbo kits. Might be worth a browse with what you are planning some really interesting stuff on there with quality second to none.

whats your price range mate? and welcome to the forum!!!

Were you drunk when you wrote this? haha

As usual I agree with mr bacon.

BAM is the way forward mate.... If you use the AUG it will end up costing you more in the end anyway. If you guna do it do it properly. Dont rule out the VRT route either, with Corrado's and mk3's being broken left right and centre you can easily get hold of a nice VR lump.

Just since i bought it this kit has done nothing but give me grief, this is the last thing i need. I guess its just sit and wait to hear back from them now then. I am assuming the entire point in me removing my ECU and sending them my chassis number and every other code and number under the sun was to enable them to make the chip specifically for my car, so if they come back at me and say its just a generic USA spec chip i will release verbal hell upon them! Thanks for raisin the query though man last thing i wont is to find out after getting it hard wired into the ECU
-
Jim pick up our conversation on clumpys thread... You have somewhat concerned me with your questions.... surly VF make the chips specific to the ECU, as i sent them photos on mine... will this not mean it will be for the 2.9 C as im sure the 2.8 and 2.9 have different ECU's? I have emailed VF and am now nervously awaiting a response
-
I sent them my Chassis number and several photos of the ECU as my kit was made to order from VF-engineering, With this in mind i assumed the chips provided would be specific to the car?
