hahah no, i tried and after about 2 hours i gave up on gettin the front end of and just did it with it on, i got it from a company called Advanced Radiators (http://www.adrad.co.uk/) rang them up really great customer service and the best prices around, they get them direct from the manufacturer so save alot on over heads, all Hella and VAG approved great quality, and at £95 + vat cant beat it, really happy with it. good luck with the fitment haha, and yes i have heard the job is made about 20x easier by taking the front end of haha.

Few Updates: New pads: New discs: All fitted, nice to actualy do a job that didnt involve bloody knuckles and a head ache! and then couple of photo's i took the other day at a charity cruise i organise each year for a lost friend.. My favourite one, and the "phat booty" shot, (40mm spacers on 9j) that is all for now..... speedlines are back on at the moment and cups are starting the long process of a refurb by yours truly :D tax, mot, insurance postponed the body work till next month but hay how, just something else to look forward to i suppose thats all for now. tally hoooooo!

HOW DO YOU TAKE THE BUMPER OF? seriously i changed mine took me about 5 hours with leaving the bumper and slam panel on, im quite a competent chap, but i seriously almost lost my rag with the suborn biatch, still have not got the slightest clue how u get a ba-stard thing of! anyone got any like guides or anything?

i like ants! did mine the other day after finding several mm of cv boot grease on the inside of my wheel, found out the old cv boot WAS zip tied on and looks like it had been chewed by a dog, all sorted now! messy stuff! also used the bottle as my drinking beaker rather than the a glass! ants!

my head gasket went 2 weeks after i brought mine. and i agree with mr bacon.... you sound like me, i had so many plans for how it looked when i brought it, yet my entire budget for air ride and wheels went on the engine and transmission, i think the thing to do is build yourself a sturdy platform i.e engine, brakes, chassis etc.... before your start building on it, if you follow me :) welcome to the club mate.
