What idle problems did you have? Just wanted to see if anyone has had thee exact issue before i started pouring more into in the car. but then thats not a bad price really, how long have you had that part on the car? All the turbos boys delete the ISV though right? do they get it deleted off the ECU or something?

Ah, also forgot to mention when coming to a stop at say, traffic lights, the car will sit at just above 1000rpm for about a second before dropping down to the 700-800 mark don't know if this may help?

I cant remember 100% but i believe the car cuts out, ISV was deleted because after about 2 years of regular cleaning it finally packed up and completely seized and i didnt want to fork out for a new one

Experiencing some hot start problems with the VR6, it wont idle without throttle when you try and start it when its warm... Video showing the problem other points, ISV delete Have reason to believe the MAF may not be 100% FPR has never been changed. Any help appreciated Thanks

oh yeh whoops, VR6 engine, odb1. I know i should probably just get a new part, but i know there are people out there that have successfully deleted, and would rather not have it there.

Deleted my isv the other day after it finally seized up and car wouldn't idle at all, would just drop off the revs with no throttle. Wound out the idle screw on the butterfly and was ok but didn't seem spot on, so have made up and copper pipe with a gas tap on it to make up a manual isv. That seems all fine but I'm having warm start problems, it's really hard to get it to idle at all when the car is warm it will just drop off as soon as I let off the pedal Any ideas, or more solid ways of deleting isv? Don't really want to buy a new one would rather just not have it. Don't all the turbo builds do isv deletes?? Cheers

I recently bought a new fuel, from euro, a bosche one, which is different to the old one, believe they stopped making the old ones, was told to get the new matching sender unit, but didn't have the cash at the time, gone back to them today, and they can't find it anywhere and have told me its dealer only Does anyone know either where to get one or the part number?? Was all tight, had the pipes on the right way, and it ran, then I tried to take it for a test drive, it conked out and then would only start but idle really lumpy, if I touched the peddle it cut out

The old one worked, i just suspected it was on its way out, i think its either the part or something i have done wrong in installation?

Today i installed a new bosche fuel pump after the car wouldnt start the other day (almost 100% it was either down to pump or relay (changed the relay first, works fine)) Swapped all the bits and bobs around from the old pump to the new, fitted it and started it up! Took a while for it to start but i guess thats because it had to pressurise the lines again. Idled for about 2 minutes (sounded good), but drove it 20 metres and it cut out (everytime i gave it a poke on the throttle, the revs dipped) Took the pump out, checked over it all seems fine to me. tl;dr issues with new bosche fuel pump, have i missed anything silly...? Cheers
