  2. yes you would need to change the dbonnet including athe engine mounts rads ECU loom and all that wouldnt it be cheap just to get a VR from standard???
  3. like mentioned before with enough time and money it can be done the best thing you have going for yourself is that you have the entirer car to start with so you can transfer everything over even and including the floor pan for all the transmisson stuff personally that would make one interesting conversion if you do decidde to go for it

  5. Ah ok I know what u mean and where ur going with it but this doesnt freeze as bad as NOS so alot of these issues that have come up shouldnt be present Also ive got my own little trick how to keep the inlet cooler so if you want drop me a PM and ill explain it ;) ;) as for the gunine pig ill think about it but dont hold ur breath lol ;) ;)
  6. I would be very very interested to see how you make your own for £40 as I would have never imagined the cost being that low!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kev I will be bring in the smaller 2 layer ones as us guys with corrados dont tend to have alot of room with these things :( Aide thats the first time ive ever heard that, I would be interested to see where this claim has been made as the point of tuning a engine is to reclaim power your losing. I.e. when its hot weather cars tend to work less efficient hence why we do as much as possible i.e. Intercoolers, water injection and Charger coolers to get it to run more efficient
  7. Hello guys Well as some of you know Ive been trying to get a charge cooler designed over here in the uk that would except the use of C02 to cool things down :) Well as Ive had no luck I came across these guys http://www.cryofuzion.com/ which not only have designed but also perfected it to work at its best. After very long talks (and the way things are going with me) its been agreed that I can distribute their product over here in the UK which I will also use my car as a demo (once its bloody running lol) and a few other. Anyway how many of you guys would be interested??? if so feedback etc on the product Thanx in advance alex

  16. ive got to agree with James that every one has there own ways of styling their car if its body, interior ICE or engine but as for the "this is how to style a corrado" and then seeing that red thing im not sure Come on every one has a go at the UK for not being different and the only thing happing mainly to corrado is europe is how low can i get it how wide is my wheels and how much can i flare my arches Ok there still is the few that look sweet ones that come out each year but im getting bored of the euro look of just slam and wide cant anyone over there think of anything new if they are meant to be the leaders in VW styling??? Im not saying my car is any better but i still yet to see any other corrado that looks like mine or has the same mods and yes it does look different hence why i did it :D As for the bonnet vents my mate with the RS turbo is looking for something different for his car so ill pass the pic over to him. my 2p's worth
  17. On airfiled i hit 150 and still pull :D Oh and that was from coming out of 4th at 130mph ;) ;) :D Now i cant wait to see what it does with the charger on it :D

    weird one

its a bit late for that anyway yes u are correct in that engine flushes shouldnt be used but the guy that built my engine used this particular brand on all his engines and that its a very well reviewed flush i dont mind using it But sadly that doesnt answer my original question even thou talking to a few people it looks like ive untrapped dirty in the tappets which should have beenb changed a while ago from the sounds of it so going to give that a go this weekend :D
  21. Ok no need to go nuts on pressure washer basically get urself a 5L gunk copntainer a bucket and a set of brushed (soft, med and hard) then remove as much of the bnoost pipes as possible covering any holes and just go nuts with the gunk then with just a stream of water u can just water the gunk off and u should get a nice shinny engine bay ive just dont this in my brother G40 and i did it in my corrado early on in the year and they both came out sweet :)

    weird one

Ok guys Ok I gave my brothers engine a good clean out using Protec 2000 and removing the old oil, putting some normal oil in it, run it for another 10 mins and then removing that to be able to put in Castrol magnitex fresh oil. Car been running fine but all off a sudden the engine sounds tappety when warming up :( but its not on idle (which i first thought it was) its when ur under load / pulling away and only happens whilst the engine warms up what can it be??? as i want to get it sorted a.s.a.p thanx in advance
