water temps tend to be about 10 degrees lower than oil runnign temps thats what ive foudn with my car
-
the cheapest way to do it in my opinion is to bolt a 1.8T 20v into a original G60 corrado using the 02A gearbox and brake setup along with the ECU get yourself this Volks speed dizzy conversion kit and then a HKS fuel controller and your there You allso nees all the bosot pipes and intercooler made up but should be fine :)
-
g60bv sorry forgot about this thread ive got a memory like a golf fish :| :?  i had them fitted originally by some guys in london but they didnt do a massive good job and then had one redone due to the door change when my car went for a respray in bournemouth but i dont think he wants to do them again as there not easy lol but i can ask if your interested :)
-
g60bv I know what u mean ive seen alot of people use it before but never gave it any though as ive always had a n/a cars, but now that ive bolted on a charger its all different :D also beavis your mate theory it is correct but only when the bottle is nearly about 90-95% empty other wise it hold no truth what so ever. The only reason it does that when its that when its nearly empty, is that there is not compression left in the bottle from holding it, in a liquid form but then you just have to look at fire extinguisher to see what I mean. Also if it’s nearly that empty your better of finishing it off than leaving a little sitting in there.
-
ah didnt think about that or look at it that way :) :D ;) cool ill place my order then :D
-
yeah i guessed that but whne it comes to MOT you just dont un it so that should be fine :) as for the person behind you how would that work as i couldnt see flames shooting out of the back of the car lol
-
p.s i wouldnt recomend spray these on standard intercoolers as it will crack them over time as ive this on the web when people have used them on standard items
-
yeah i did read into it and as my intercooler is mounted infornt of the rad and my airfilter is where the carbon canister normaly sits on a corrado i would have throught the gas would have to move round alot for it to get there especialy when its oon the move ???
-
i cant believe the same thing ive been trying to get developed here in the uk has been done so easily over in america that cryofuzion stuff is great and much better than the DEI kit i knew the Co2 would effect power levels if sucked in buy the filter but they never tested it with the filter on the outside of the engine bay behind the wing like my setup (even thou they did do s similar thing buy putting it through the wall) also that exhaust piece does anyone think it will work???
-
my dad's merc has the battery in the boot aswell
-
they where def mkIII as they had the right handbrake conections and hose fitments as im not thinking of putting mkIV on my car but i dont know if they where off a golf think they where of a vento or passat cant rememeber
-
yeah but the last mkIII ones are mad e of alloy and dont seize as ive seen a set at my local breakers (which where meant for me but someone got in before me  )
-
you should be fine the only time you need new bolts is when you go for a complete mad offset like i am  would suggest getting some good quality wheel locking nuts thou
-
why does everyone go for mkIV when the late mkIII stuff is as good and dont need no special hoses
-
looks like its a general opinion about this mag http://www.performancevwmag.com/forum/t ... C_ID=23293 so my comment about it was tuning into max power isnt over the top :)

hello mate how r u long time no see or hear :D anyway respray a massive headache ive just got mine re-done by a guy in bournemouth and spent a week there helping him with it. I paid £2100 for mine but you would be looking at £1000-£1500 for a full proper respray so i.e windows out and doors off
-
