Hello Henny Hows it going??? any luck with the engine??? or shall i not ask  Anyway yes you are correct that rieger's RS front bumper is only half a bumper but they have a new one out think its called RX and thats a complete bumper which sits over the old frame and mounts. As far as i know the only half bumper rieger does for a corrado is the RS otherwise the rest of their range I think about 4 different kind of bumpers are complete ABS units Also yes the car already will have silk smooth look and im not going to give away which wheels but they will certainly be different I cant remember who does a ABS plastic bumper but when i get home ill have a look for you

Hello guys As some of you know im getting the car fixed very soon and in preparation for this im trying to "build" the next stage of the car but ive come to dead end Basically here are my two options 1, take the side skirts off, also the rear bumper skirt and put a original vr front bumper with the deep 90mm spolier and go for the euro look (which by the way is looking very tempting. 2, get a new front bumper and keep the fast and furious look. The only prob i cant find a after market bumper in ABS plastic (not doing carbon fibre again) that i like. The only thing at the mo im considering is the rieger new front bumper. Still no luck from DSP :-(. what do you guys think alex 2.1 16v

Hello all Come guys its nice to have a few more corrados down for the night [;)] Got to say a massive thank you to everyone that turned up last month, we had over 130 cars turn up and all hardcore VAG fans we even had a Bentley turn up, which off course is part of the VAG group now [:D]. It will also be a good opportunity for those who can not make it to E38 show to catch up with those who did [;)] Every month it amazes me how many new faces I get to meet and how friendly and relax the atmosphere is, so keep it going and I hope to see you all on Tuesday 30th September. I get asked a lot how long it takes to get to and its in west London just above Hanger lane of the m40 and about 1 hour away from Guilford, Essex Reading Etc all depending on Traffic and m25 unless your coming along N.circular. Also unless you’re travelling from south - south east London and going through the centre of London you will not be charged for the congestion charger which finishes after 6:30pm So it’s a quick reminder that on Tuesday the 30th September there will be the usual monthly meet starting from 7pm. As usual please come early for parking inside. Visit http://www.e1k-acecafe.co.uk for more details and the postcode for next to it is NW10 7NN. I will also like to thank you all for respecting ACE cafe and the roads round it as we have no longer had any trouble so keep it up guys [ ] Thank you for reading this and hope to see you all down there alex 2.1 16v 1.3 turbo up for sale http://www.e1k-acfecafe.co.uk

Hello Dexter I will try to answer your question as well as i know i can but other members might correct me. Both the yahoo email group and forum are not tied with CCGB due to difficulties moderating the content and other legal problems that could happen. Secondly the forum was started by Andi which in all due respect has worked well and from what I understand he likes to keep it in his control like what Jim said. The yahoo email group was started by CCGB members which wanted away to be able to contact each other over emails. As for the information stored in CCGB, Yahoo email list and this forum plus others and i hope no one takes offense to this but as far as im concern its all either come from members in the CCGB or vvvortex.com where most of the history behind corrado lies or some german/european webpages. People have then picked this up over the years and now are sharing it out through the forums to other people. I myself have learnt everything i know about corrado's from CCGB mainly and some from vwvortex and other forums in germany etc and yes i do pass it over to you guys thorugh either this forum, email list or other forums but thats just me helping out others in need like ive been helped out before. Also CCGB is not about a mag and AGM its about the people themselves and to only pay £15 which is a couple of drinks on a night out I dont even think its worth agrueing about. I joined to be able to benefit from insurance discounts, parts discounts and of course the knowledge from the people in it but i got more. Its hard to explain but you meet people with the save love for a corrado but you can still go out on nights out and weekenders and have a laugh with them. Even at shows. Yes i know CCGB has been quiet this year but this will soon change. Me personally ive gone through a few bad patches even down to that i had the car up for sale but alot of guys from the CCGB (being close friends of mine) talked to me about it and let me see a few options I had and now everything has worked out ok but atleast i get to keep the car. Anyway enough about me going on but all i will say is CCGB is worth more than £15 a year and I have yet not found another club as good or better than them. In the end its a personal choice. alex 2.1 16v ccgb 1372

Hello mate All i would do is get yourself a 1.8 16v head with cams and bolt it on to your car. Also a nice sports CAT or remove yours completely with a drilled air box and k&n filter and youll be able to see 165bhp give or take 10bhp. If your going to port and polish then use your head and put in some 1.8 16v cams. As for chipping it cant be done with the K-Jet or K-Motronic rang because the only control timing and ignition so these after markets chips are useless!!!!! Ive even spoken to people that have fitted k-star and the other one and they said it didnt really make that much difference. As for this exhaust cams in the inlet side both AMD and the guy that built my engine have said its no good. Yes driving the car it feels like it produces alot more power after 3500rpm but when they did a rolling road on the test cars they notice it was down to the fact it was underpower before 3500rpm and just producing the normal power in the rest of the range so its not a mod worth doing. I personally havent discused this with Vince so i dont know where he stands with it.

Darren saw that and im talking to the guy to see what can be done :-)

Hello all As there has been a bit of interest for 5 stud conversions for corrado lately and im guessing some golf guys might be interested First of all as anyone seen if the latest golf's/polo's hubs with 5 stud fit on a corrado??? this might resolve the drive shaft problem aswell Secondly if there enough of us interested finding a comapany to make a hub using a four stud model as a example but drilling 5x100 into it instead of 4x100???? what do you guys think??? alex

Hello all I know there is adaptors for 4 x 100 to 5 x 130 porsche fitments (loads of companies do it) but is there any 4 x 100 to 5 x 112 or 5 x 100 to 5 x 112 adaptors??? Also is it true that some VW's and Audi's have/come with 5 x 112 pcd?? and if so can i change my hub's etc over to these Also if anyone know of companies that do adptors to 5 x 112 if they could forward the information to me. Thanx in advance for any advise alex

well im putting my vote in for black or black chrome as i do like it alex 2.1 16v -
spoier thats correct as for the leght the should be right as the oil plate to feed the cooler should have a rod that screws onto the engine one and then you put the oilfilter onto that I bought my kit from burton power (i know ford place) and it cost me £80 for the sandwhich plate black hoses 13 row oil cooler and all the clips etc. I then opted for a "performance oil filter" it doesnt add performance but it does filter alot better than vw own ones as this was also a smaller unit so i was able to keep the water/oilcooler there so it helps the oil warm up quicker during the winter times and i still saw a massive drop in oil temps , ive even had it sometimes at 88c on the motorway :D just my 2p worth
-
Why dont you just get the ones out of a golf gti??? some off them didnt come with the oil cooler plate so it would be a straight swope

Whos car do you like the look of on the forum?

i know this is going to make me sound full of myself i love all the looks of all corrado (not very impressed with the old wide boy zender kit) but i think mine is just (well used to be lol) beautifull :D alex -
Well theres been a long conversation into this and the conclusion came that FK's were Koni without the lable. Both Koni's and FK's fully adjustable coilover are identical and both work as well as each other. just my 2p worth alex 2.1 16v
