hello there well the silencers are power flow the rest pipes and exit trim is scorpion if the car you look at had a white door in the boot to replace the damaged passenger yes then it was my car rob ive had it since i nearly got the car so just under 4 years and things are cool just getting along and going to start to get the car ready for next year
-
Powerflow is a good company to go to I had mine built using powerflow and scorpion parts and it sounds great also its given the car a few more bhp ;-)
-
well i dont know where to get one Good place to ask is Martin who does all the merchandise If not its something we could ask the club to look into if there was enought interest???

aposegil replied to CorradoVR6-Turbo's topic in General Car Chat

hello Sanjay For the rear lights i have a set thats been sprayed i bought as i second pair which im now selling on http://uk.f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/aposegil look in the for sale folder and if you look in the for sale section of this forum my thread on the parts i have for sale should be there As for the exhuast if you want it twin round im affriad ull need to get it made up as there is only oval, DTM and round now for the corrado As for the blue leds everyone i know has done it themselves and a few write up of these around the place as for the rear handles there of a pssat and ull also need the rear lock mechanism to fit it all done it on my mate corrado and it works a treat

hello rob :D well i really comment about the different in insurance as mine started of as a 1.8 16v and then into a race spec 2L 16v so it went up by £200 also dubster i can understand what your saying but ive know a few people to have rebuilt chargers even from Jabba and other majoy g60 rebuilders and they still have let go. You have to remember the g-series charger are very old in design even thou they are good what they do and when you start pushing them to there limits they tend to go. Also a unit thats been running on a car for 60000miles and you rebuild it you still have to remember the main parts of the charger have 60000 miles writen all over it. Its very similar to what someone mentioned on this forum about rebuilding a 16v head how it could cause more damage to the bottom end. Same kind of principle just my 2p worth
-
always try lower youll never know you might get lucky but be prepared to pay £2850
-
well i would go for a 16v they are in my opinion the most reliable corrado out of the range. Dont taken offense guys but g60 dudes have to worry about there charger all the time and most vr's are coming to that stage where rebuilds need to be done. Also i would go for a 1.8 16v and then when you have a bit more money get yourself a 9A 2L bottom end and youll easy see 170 +/- 5bhp assuming ull have a k&n filter and exhuast system hope this helps
-
to me that sounds ok my mate bought a corrado about 7months ago and he payed 2500 and it was average miles with loads of stone chips
-
yes the corrado club does cover York and ive im not mistaken the guy that does the merchandise for CCGB lives somewere in York
-
well done mate its a pity not all g owners go for this mod as everyone seems to love it also kick some a*** at the pod i was thinking of taking my 16v up there to see what times it does but i just cant be arse especially with the weather how it is at the mo ****edit****-swearing-vr6storm
-
sorry the car still looks horrible in pvw if you look at the photos they are taken in dark areas so that the mods are not so much in your face the only thing i can praise the owner is that he built it to be original (i.e some thing no one else has done and you wander why) but then all modded cars get commented on. I still remember when my first came out two years ago at inters i got a email from someone that i had disgraced a corrado by doing what i did but then i didnt care because it was one person against loads others so i must have done something right :D unless you guys are holding back lol Anyway did someone actually by this??? and as for the comments its feature in pvw according to people i know that feature was done before it was put up for sale. Also agree with you Jim on your comments about PVW youll never now they might feature that blue 16v in there aswell just my 2p's worth

The Worlds best corrado has arrived! (AND ITS NOT MINE)
aposegil replied to Majik's topic in General Car Chat
ummmh that could be my new front bumper  god i really really hate that    some please buy it as all it need is a front bumper and bonnet and we can call it a corrado again and get that civic front bumper of that car -
sorry but i really dont like that kit. its just to wide and makes the car even worse to drive round in and we wont get into the amount of drag it will make meaning ull need a massive engine to get the thing to go lol just my 2ps worth
-
well mines J417RAN which u wont miss if you come tomorrow alex
-
hope to see you lot tomorrow night
-
Henny have a look here riegers official site http://www.riegertuning.de/en/Modelshow ... rrado.html also i think your thinking of the clip on spoliers at the bottom of the bumper which rieger do Also Jim planning to keep away from cinema car parks and superstored for that matter as for rabbits thats there choice Every rabbit thats always come up against me has lost out lol   lol sorry ill get my coat now
-
uh not nice just a quick question how much did you have it insured for???? that will usually give you a idea on if the will write it off personally it just looks like a new front end which you could source the parts for about £300-£600 depending on how much you pay and if you get new headlamps, fogs etc plua about £500 for spraying it all up so round if of to £1000 thats of course if the is no structual damage but good look with it
