  1. Thanks all.. I am indeed a nutter! CoxyLaaaaaaaad!, If someone really wants it then I'll negotiate something with who ever steps forward, but for the time being I am just cracking on and getting it ready for the road. I have only advertised the engine on this forum so I wasn't planning on a huge response tbh, it was kinda spurr of the moment kinda of thing. But thinking about it now I just want to get on and get it on the road as I've been dying to drive it now for, well, 4 years! :) Will I have it on the road before yours though, thats the question? Phil K, Absolutely! I'll put you on the list D)
  2. Quick update... Took these crappy phone pics this afternoon, just thought I'd share with you guys what I'm having to deal with, electrics wise! Almost got it all sussed now. All the lights are working bar the reverse ones and all the TVR electrics are preety much done including the warning lights in the drivers door card. All I have to do now is quickly wire up the climate control and then thats the elctrics done!.. phew.. should get that done next weekend. I need to make some custom ducting for the vents in the dash and put it back in.. wire up the fans and boost controller and its pretty much done! I have it booked in for the final mapping sesh on the 7th Jan giving me enough time to get it 'road legal' then hopefully I will book the MOT the following week! So should have it on the road by mid Jan, leaving 5 months to iron out all the problems in time for WORTHERSEE 06 ! Das is good ya! cheers Ben
  3. sorry, my fault. Are boost guages mechanical [/quote:15d27] nope.. can get both.. my warning greddy boost gauge is electronic.
  4. Its not like I would be able to miss your head either.. would I..  Sorry mate I'm busy the next 2 weekends.. might be helping to fit a turbo to guy's R32 next weekend.. hummm :)
  5. Undecided at the moment coxy. I haven't got round to making the custom rear wishbones so it very much depends on that I think. Focusing on getting the car road legal first. Yours look cool though and inspiring . I might stick with my mk4 ones for the time being as cash is tight at the mo... Ben
  6. so hows that mk2 coming along Nick, is it ready for a mag feature soon? :D B
  7. I've gone for as many gauges as poss... just so I can keep an eye out on everything as Henny said! Better be safe than sorry!
  8. yeah saw Nicky pulling a couple of guys on sat night in guildford...
  9. £210 to re-seal some RS wheels.. You should be shot! That’s daylight robbery... someone report that bugger to the authorities!
  10. Sorry to hear that matey! Glad you are ok, thats the main thing! B
  11. in the process of doing mine. They weren't finished for the E38 show, but now I have the color right I intend to flat them back and get a nice shine!
  12. Z4 = is still a girls car.. I sold a complete mk3 driver sunroof on fleebay a while back for about 50 quid so just keep your eyes out over the winter months for a complete unit. You won't need to use it over winter anyway! Rear gearbox mount isn't hard to replace. need to jack the engine up a bit and perhaps drop the subframe on its bolts then it will go in. Otherwise pay hugo to do it! B
  13. Glass fibre all the way  Its cheap and easy to use...
  14. conleycrew3, The interior took me about 14 months to do from scratch and the leather wasn't toooo bad in terms of cost as I got a very good deal :) Henny,
  15. fair enough. TDi's are very good. a nice 130 bhp version in a corrado and a re-map would be very cool!
