  1. I bought a recaro seat of ebay yesterday and I think I'm gouing to make some brackets up and mount it to the floor. This way my head dosen't hit the roof! lol Thanks for the advice krazee
  2. thats pretty good! I got my engine with everything for about £700, that to was about 2-3 years ago....
  3. how much did you pick that crashed mk4 up for may I ask? And where.. just out of interest....
  4. Who makes the best low comp pistons, cost? I would go for a US manufacture as the current exchange rate of $1.92 to £1 is rather good.com. Have you tried EIP Lee?
  5. Speak to Guy Heartly, he has the charged VR6 storm in dark blue. He has had a nightmare time with his charger and has changed a few times from one make to another. He will no doubt put you in the right direction. 311bhp is the proof of that!
  6. I know, spoke to Richard (used to work at MJ interiors) and he said don't even go there with those TVR Tuscan seats - nightmare to trim.... ...so been thinking about some new front seats that will match the rears and go with the TVR dash. Very hard to find some good front seats for not stupid money that goes with the lovely coorado rear bench. Looked at all sorts of seats but most don't suit my needs. I would love some leather trimmed buckets but thats tooo pricey, looked at lotus, TVR + other "different" sports car seats but I don't feel they fit the critera. So I'm looking back at the recaro line up.....?, but being 6ft3" I need a seat that will mount low, or at least that can be mounted on the floor with some after market runners. Lee I sat in your car at E 38 (with your permission  ) and yours were really comfy, well supporting and they suited the car down to a tee, but do you think they can be mounted any further down? Did you just use a set of corrado subframes and weld them on?
  7. Dont you mean the flaired rallye arches ??? This is the pic i shopped !! yeah but the rallye arch and the corrado swage line makes the look a little crowded on the front and therefore makes it looks a little odd. The rear looks good imo.

    headlight loom

It wouldn't be ethical of me to suggest that. Gavin Then buy one of Gavin's looms... :D
  9. Your right, the syncro 4wd is prob only good for 200-250bhp but the rallye 4wd is slightly stronger and should be good for up to 300bhp (thats to be realible) Rallye 4wd has been used with upto near 600bhp though! Think phat has the rallye stuff ?????
  10. the back looks ok but the front doesn'r llok right with two swage lines....
  11. congrates Paul!!! I know now who to hire to get mine going... :D
  12. Jay's done 3 of those if you include his own... A good upgrade with or without aircon, I'm going to be putting one in mine soon...
  13. I think its the wheels that make it look so good.... :D 8)
  14. The seats are from a TVR Cerbera, the same as the dash... to be honest they are the only thing that I'm not sure about.. might see if I can get the later spec TVR seats like the ones in my mates 4x4 20vt ex Dubsport Mk2 Golf, but they are quite expensive. In terms of hours I was chatting to a mate about this last weekend. Its taken near 3 years to do and we worked out that I must have spent between 3000 and 4000 hours on the car in total !!!!! mad I know.!
  15. I didnt realise you were yodas big brother? ah clever you are, curvy it is lol  god I need to get out more hehheeh :D
  16. not as such, but I'm starting a new job in london in Jan and the car is going to stay in Norfolk so I won't have much time to spend on it so its all about this christmas break to get as much done as possible. I want to have it on the road by March I think!
  17. Following on from what phat said earlier, here's one I made a couple of years ago... :) pictures in wrong order - dohh, sorry..
