Great pic for a caption competition Jim I was thinking "This car's going nowhere until you sell it to me" Fits in nicely with the need for VR6 action :) -
Hey John :) Didn't the CCGB have the numbers of each colour sold in the UK, that would settle this rather than personal preferences. Good to see Blackberry in your top 5 though, it's also the fastest colour

Believe you can check the chain condition with diagnostic software. Try searching R32OC.COM lots of useful info on there :)

Yeah But You're Old [/quote:1p3opf7j] Thanks for reminding me Steve but just consider this: If you're half as old as me now in another 10 years you'll have closed that gap and I'll be less than twice as old as you

Might be worth a PM to Tempest as he has a US spec G60.

Try Hagerty Insurance based at Silverstone, My C's insured with them for under £200 on agreed value and limited mileage :)

Air Con was a dealer fit option, not factory and I believe it's the Diavia system. The air con is activated by the dash switches described above.

You sure Dave, I've seen Febi parts with vw part numbers stamped on them, that was in my MK2 Golf days though :)
-
Yep, but only for 6 months through the summer, had the seats retrimmed about 7 years ago so they're holding up pretty well :)
-
For post facelift headlights only though.. :) Good point Yan :)

The 205's are the correct ones to keep the same rolling radius but they will be stretched on an 8" wheel as the the norm would be to fit 7.5" with 205's.

Lenses are still available from VAG.

I've bought late MK2 curved handles and put them on my recaros then loop the belt over them, works a treat :)

Well the thing is that they were all bitching about regular PH forum members not being able to attend, but in 24 pages of posts I didn't see one person complain that they didn't get a place :cuckoo: -

Elitism, bigotry or whatever you wish to call it has won. THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED :hitler: -
If you disconnect the inlet and outlet for the matrix on the bulkhead and join them together with a bit of copper pipe and jubilee clips you'll bypass it and see if it loses any coolant then. If it doesn't you know it's faulty.

Yes Chris I decided against using the paint tray and roller just went to MJ instead

If I was you I'd buy a decent set of standard size (5.25) front components with crossovers like Focal, MB Quart etc, a 4 channel amp and a small 10" sub which is what I have and it's a huge improvement over standard. I don't run the standard rears as they should run mono for fill in sound only. No need for bigger speakers and you wouldn't be disappointed if you just want decent quality sound.

Chris, talk to Karl (KadVR6), he dyed a set red before and they looked good :)
