    ELECTRICS

Not forgetting the most important thing of all given the problem you have - disconnect the battery before you start messing around with the wiring or fusebox :)

    ELECTRICS

Don't know if this might help but plug E in the fusebox supplies power to the brake light switch and the immobiliser. Have a look at this link http://www.a2resource.com/electrical/CE2.html
  3. Originals on ebay Item No 170417677895
  4. Nice one :) 205 40 17 to maintain the same rolling radius. Think you'll need to drop the suspension though or they just won't look right at all IMHO.
  5. I'm with you on this one Gareth, surprise surprise :D
  6. This thread might help you. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 19&t=56333
  7. Hi Amit, have a look at this thread, some info on fitting and it references zerocool who makes the looms up and sells them on here. http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... m&start=15 Novastrike - you should use an in line fuse.
  8. Looks brilliant Chris, Santa obviously got you what you wanted :) and you obviously got the hang of the DA pretty quickly too
  9. Yeah I hear what you're saying and you have to have confidence in who you choose to do the work. Just to follow on from what OSV said have you seen this and I think he's in your neck of the woods. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=85009
  10. As I said before Star Performance in Fife must be worth an enquiry but if you're determined to travel hundreds of miles so be it :)
  11. How about Star Performance in Fife which is pretty close to you.
  12. What I've done is wait till the edges start to rust then apply a rust treatment like Kurust or something which converts the rust and turns it black.
  13. There isn't a seal listed separately on ETKA so if there is one it must be part of the sensor and not able to be bought on it's own.
  14. As well as various mods mentioned previously I don't like non standard exhaust shapes - round, dtm etc, they simply just don't look right on the car, and anything which just doesn't suit the period and looks too modern. I'm like a number of you and haven't made any irreversible mods and have all the original stuff to put the car back to standard, but do agree with Gareth regarding upgrading. If I was to put my Speedlines back on the car would look almost standard bar the ride height which is the same with most of the other subtley modded cars on here. But hey if something floats your boat then fine if it's what you like :)
  15. I did a write up in this post :) http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 19&t=56333
  16. Yeh it's a Momo Club 4, bought mine about 7 or 8 years ago and I think they had just been discontinued so I managed to get the display one off the wall :)
  17. 3 of us with impeccable taste in steering wheels then :)
  18. Sure you haven't got a coil pack instead of a dizzy?

  21. A bit like a great VW like a Corrado isn't 100% VW

One example... Veyron :notworthy: Ah but the cars were built by Ford, the very early ones at the AVO (Advanced Vehicle Operations) unit at Dagenham, ok some of them may have Cosworth or Lotus engines but these were developed in partnership and supplied by those 2 companies :) Don't get me wrong, I love VW's as much as the next guy but I can see why Ford came top given that they produced the Escort Twin Cam some 7 years before VW built the Golf GTi, and the Lotus Cortina was even earlier!
