I take it you mean power output 40w x4 not 40w x2 ? 2 channels for front speakers and 2 channels for back speakers. Probably round about 60 watts x4 rms would be good for those speakers. 40w is a bit low if those figures you qoute are rms. :)

It will have a years MOT and 6 months tax and is a very nice example but it has to go and it is now back on BBS RM's. Any interest send me a PM.

My golf G60 oil temp sits around 96-104 and my oil pressure gauge reads about 5.5 bar max (whatever that is in psi). Are you sure you have not connected your oil pressure to the rev counter :!:

Hi, sold my Corrado VR6 to KARMANN from the forum on the 18th of December, the plan being to buy a cheap run around and then get a Golf mk4 gt tdi in spring. Well just over 24 hours after selling my VR (serious withdrawal symptoms) I saw a golf G60 advertised on PVW website, turned out to be only 15 miles from me, went to have a look and bought it there and then!! It's a G60 oettinger factory tuned (supposedly only a few oettinger tuned in country), stage 4 charger, electric recaros, supersprint exhaust etc. 215bhp-Quick car but the constant wet weather in scotland means I mostly wheelspin-even in 3rd! Struggling a bit with the left hand drive but I'll see how I get on. I've included some pics below;

Buy an uprated loom from h100vw (username on forum). Come with all fitting instructions, straightforward enough to do yourself mate. :D

Not slagging off your head unit but if I was you I would replace both head unit and speakers. Try somewhere like hendon car stereo or car audio security who both do mail order and are a lot lot cheaper than halfords. :)

I loved it! Going up through the gears was something else the pull was unreal, although I thought it might be a bit quicker than it actually was-the car I drove had only done 781 miles! The last turbo'd car I owned or drove was probably an escort rs turbo. Turbo's have certainly come on since then-next to no lag. Driving round town I couldn't believe how many people stare. Not sure if they are thinking that's a nice car or look at that ugly thing.(the car!) As for the handling-thought it handled quite well but was a bit scared to push it-this model costs £24995. You do have to be over 30 to drive an sti and they take £500 off your credit card which you get back at end, plus there is a 150 miles limit too. Was the mph04 show any good? I agree the styling is a bit ott that scoop is huge, coming down the motorway just after i picked it up the sun was out and I kept thinking the police were behind as the sun was reflecting off the rear spoiler kind of giving a blue flash in my mirror! I could live with the styling though to be honest. I'll give you a shout re corrado i'm checking out some impreza's just now. :D

I filled out form online on sunday afternoon, hadn't heard anything by this morning so I phoned above number. Spoke to Dan who was very helpful and basically pulled my file out of the queue and dealt with all the details on phone. I think only certain dealers have the sti model khurrado. Try calling them. Good Luck 8)

I would get in there quick as I think the list is getting very long, especially for the sti model.

Picking it up on thursday night through subaru's extended test drive offer, can't wait. Going to be an expensive 24 hours(fuel costs).
