I am looking for cash on collection as these are expensive parts and do not want them lost or damaged in the post. If it’s difficult to collect and we can agree on delivery, tracking and insurance etc. then I will try and sort something out. 6. cheers mate - ^^^ thats just how i wanted this car and the power is better than i expected which is always a bonus
  7. thanks they were the first few runs it did fire a few flames at first when sorting the map on full throttle but adjusted timing & fuelling just been out in it today definitley alot better lower down and picks up strong all the way to the redline
  8. Finally got back to Stealth last week to finish mapping but only got a few runs as the alignment needed adjusting then the day got way too hot up to 28 degrees outside Pulled a decent 409hp and can already see the torque its better lower down and comes in a lot sooner With just 2800 miles on the new block should get better with more miles and hope to run it again on a cooler day Next up a trip to Santa Pod now I can go full throttle here is a video on RR of the first few runs
  9. Thanks Phil The aim this year is to drive it more than work on it now everything has been done - looking to get on santa pod too 8)
  10. Thanks mate remember to get yours on here should have some good pics where you are
  11. yeah all standard vag parts and rear arb should be fun but wont get to really test the handling in this weather and should feel alot smoother on full throttle
  12. Cheers Kev it needed sorting most of the bushes and the old coilovers were in bad condition I installed standard vag rear bushes not vb but I did see them on ebay - pricey - but wasnt sure about them
  13. ...But this is how it looks today still driving the car through the winter until I got it sitting right, winding down a bit more each week
  14. Set it higher at first just to make sure it was all good...
  15. Fitted some decent suspension last month with all new bushes, wishbones, ball joints & drop links plus rear eibach arb Needed doing as none of the bushes have been changed and the koni's coils were struggling after 6 years or so
  16. Did you get a manual with yours I downloaded the instructions from kw site when installing v3's its in english too http://www.kw-gmbh.de/kw_upload/Einbau/eah68680005.pdf See Page 8-9
  17. I fit the bvh last year - made 430hp but then later started to get piston wear on my 125k motor so should i have done the lot in one go. I did rebuild gearbox with diff before going charged. If a s/c can do that then just think the damage a t/c could do on a standard setup plus when it hits hard at low rpms so I can understand your running low boost
  18. Yeah 1.2bar around 18psi Dont know whether you saw this clip a few pages back you can kind of make out how it delivers the boost and the peak This was before the engine rebuild/big valve head on a 80mm pulley
  19. Nah nothing yet as you know just sorted the suspension & drivetrain the car is completely different on kw v3's and new bushes so the power feels alot smoother on the road I have fitted a another aux tensioner, belt & filter plus changed the dumpvalve setup and reclamped all the hoses - so its ready for another blast on the dyno just need to finish the mapping at full throttle
  20. Seen it run on the rollers already made good power for std engine & sounded really good - will be even better when finished Shaun is right tho turbo will find all the weak points so save up
  21. no problem mate :D as above they do some neat stuff for the corrado http://www.dubdesignindustries.com/cata ... cts_id=251
  22. cheers kev i remember seeing your wossners after good daily use so not got alot to worry about now - how much you picking the silkolene up for?
  23. nice one thanks... needed a good tidy but its just right now - got a 70mm pully but will do a power run on the same pully just to check how much the old pistons were suffering
