Thanks OSV These guys do the Thermal Coating (TLTD) but i think they only had black gloss option, i did want silver like you but i guess they look ok with the black rims anyway [link=]http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/Coatings.htm[/link]

yeah £180 is a steal thats why i was willing to do a 200mile round trip just to go and collect them - hopefully the braking will be a match for the engines power now
-
cheers mate i got the setup from a golf 4motion all standard calipers discs and pads the lot for just £180 - golf had only 6000 on the clock goodridge hoses all round too as its the only way at the moment theyre bedding in not done much driving yet but should know the difference soon as im using the car all week
-
312mm setup from a 4 Motion now fitted Calipers coated in Black Gloss Thermal Dispersant Another good thing about this setup is the caliper clearance is alot better than the 280s as the discs sit alot further in and there is no metal carrier sticking out so great for dished alloys on near standard offset Check out the pics...

thanks for the comments guys, i'm starting to like them more and more now the rear lights are smoked inpros but i think thats a poor picture of them... i think they blend in well so what about this one...
-
cheers bro - you already know that i'm still waiting for my actual wheels - so far i have everything except the outer rims now! here are some better pics from today although it was still dull (i reckon the rear could be lowered and pushed out slightly more?)....

OSV I've only had them a few days but first impression was good the finish quality is nice on the ones i have with the polished lip - mine are 17x8 with 205 tyres I did read somewhere ASA use BBS as base for their designs I guess over time i will see how they cope through the winter but for just under £400 im very happy with them right now I wasnt totally sure if these would suit my car but im getting used to them, theyre only temporary till i get the 17's i was supposed to have i will get much better pics during the week
-
here is the 312mm brake setup i sourced for £180 got discs pads calipers and carriers with bolts fixings and hoses... but now i'm not sure if these will fit behind the 17s i have now as the clearance on 280s is only a few mil so i need to know how much 312 carriers stick out over the 280 setup? (did want to avoid spacers) they are painted in thermal dispersant gloss,,,

Not posted on here for some time a few things have happened since My 17’s pictured before were damaged after hitting a nasty pot hole back in April so I have been running on Speedlines since but now I have received compensation payment from the council I have some 312mm brakes to fit but delivery of my new wheels are delayed so I’ve got these wheels for now but these pics are off my mobile so not the best - i will get better ones once ive polished up...
