Yeah with the oe cams it seemed to hold better at the top end even though i made more gains throughout vince did say that was the only let down... it drops from 320@6600 to 270@7200 but i will look to sort this is that the same for the standard engines? if the cams are high lift is there alot of strain on the valve springs too I did look at the AP's... big money but needs to be done

Cant be bad then making 400hp/340-345whp with a 2.25 Magnex then anyway forget that what I do need now is better brakes, no more 312

Yeah the 263 Cams punched the torque bigtime but still we didnt expect anything like this, still has the magnex which i think is 2.25 and a decat - was looking at the techtonics -shaun made good power after a 2.5 system.. could do more but now its time to enjoy

Yeah the rotrex is an animal smaller quieter than vortech v9 which i had before - mine is c30-94 - got it from storm, they said i should get around 350bhp... it just shows how well the schimmel stuff works... it just gives a few different options than just turbo when your looking for big power... doesnt boost as quickly as turbo but then that could be a good thing when trying to get the power down

probably yeah but then the throttlebody and isv pipework was all there before which would pickup heat into the intake but with no chargecooler there

Shaun - thanx mate Had it mapped a few weeks back and got 333BHP/285LB-FT but the fuelling was poor

Got my Dyno results today now fitted with a Rotrex Supercharger pushing out around 17psi

I put my Golf Mk3 16v Gti Koni coilovers on my corrado vr6 back in 2003... been on since no issues i asked koni back then and they were the same part number it was just the engine weight on the front that makes difference for settings

Change the gearbox final drive to 3.68 to improve acceleration and you will see 3500rpm a lot quicker through each gear

Definitley Shaun im only 15mins from stealth so let me know I think yours is running alot better power + standalone is much better than the standard ecu - but fare play to vince he spends alot of unpaid time and effort to get the best results - in the end he had my car for 2 months and made it happen - you had a time limit so he couldnt get it finished off

Great setup shaun glad its all sorted now with the emerald - Chargecooler is quality all worth it and your boost plot proves it If you get the peloquin diff also change to a 3.6 final drive you will eat into the revs alot quicker had this when mine was standard amazing the difference it makes but even better with the charger :D

The engine breathes too well now and the V9 can't keep up. You've made good power with revs, but not great cylinder filling unfortunately. You've done the right thing getting the Schimmel kit, but it would work much better with a turbo or possibly a Rotrex. Been there myself and the V9 had to go. Glad the cold running is sorted as that's always been a mare....

Shaun yes mate cant wait to drive this now with the MAF and ISV in place i think Vince has pretty much sorted the Cold Idling issues and he has tried a few other neat tricks give him a call he will tell you exactly how it ran

Been stealth today saw plots power is at 337.3@7237 Vince says its sweet as a nut - cold idle is good, when hot theres no loss of power with the Chargecooler doing its job and at 12psi that

impact wrench + 22mm socket will take you seconds you just need the nut to spin quick enough to release it
