    Ebay Mudflaps

Has anyone bought a pair of these? They are always on Ebay. The seller told me that they are not OE / from VW. wanted to know how well they fit and how they look? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... egory=9889 Cheers.
  2. has anyone here bought and fitted a set of the Mud Flaps that seem to be on sale on Ebay almost every week? They are the ones that say Corrado on them. Would be interested to know if they are any good in terms of quality, and fit? cheers.
  3. if it aint too late, count me in for a set. Cheers. Del.
  4. theres a long and detailed account with pics on the corrado club of canada's website on how to do this mod. it looks well good. After you see it, and get into your C, you think "oohhh, my cars speedo and surrounding area is well boring and crap!" i really cant wait to get a free weekend to do something with mine.

    Steering wheel

I tried smaller than a 350, and it restricts the view of the rev counter etc. I got a momo race, and its puyfect. feels nice, and has the little bits where you grip it, feels nice when youre driving.
  6. The Corrado looks lovely, and indeed looks mint. defo an overused word, but applies to the one in the pic. wish mine looked that mint. I got a stupid dent right on the crease part of the door, where some careless bar steward opened thier door wide in a car park  ! Looking forward to Top Gear this Sunday. PS, i think that weird geezer (not the short one, or Jeremy) is Clarky's brother in law or something. Hmm.. Always did wonder how he landed that job.
  7. In an ideal world, I'd love to keep mine forever and never have to sell it, regardless of owning another car. The handling and the drive is like no other car i've ever driven. Overall styling and interior sometimes feels and looks a little dated, but who cares really. Its still one of the best sites on the roads. (The novelty value of the rear spoiler still hasn't worn off)

    VR cutting out...

Ive had the same thing on my VR. Was approaching a mini roundabout, dipped the clutch, went to change gear, but the car had switched off. Thankfully, i saw it happen in time and moved out the way of the traffic, expecting to be stuck, but it just started like normal when i turned the key again. Its like some freak thing. :? Try explaing it to a garage, and they say "i need it to happen in front of me for me to find the fault" :x (like going doctors, and just while youre there, the problems all go away!)
  9. Dubster82... you are spot on about that... They are definitely "Main Stealers". As for the CCGB... havent much experience other than the bloke on the stand they had at a car show at Donnington, (John i think was his name) was mega knowledgable and helpful. Isnt it the only sort of proper "Corrado club" that exists? ps, owned 2 different corrados in 2 years, and i think this is one of the most helpful and easy to use sites i have come across.
  10. Privelage have always offered me the lowest premium. Paying under £600 for my VR, and am 28. (full NCB and clean license)
  11. Definitely too high. I had much of that done on my first C, and it didnt come to all that much. It was under £500, although i didnt have the driveshaft / ignition switch done, there were other jobs done, and it wasnt that expensive. dont get ripped off. find another garage geezer.
  12. Hmm.. havent got £500+ to spend on it :x . Thanx for the advice. Wheres a good place to get the springs from? Has anyone used a place called potn.co.uk? Thanx again for the helpful advice. (Corrado owners are well helpful! :D )
  13. I've had my VR for a few months now, and always thought it sits a little but high, and feels too heavy and sloppy around corners. Whats the best thing to do to make it stiffer on corners and not get a too harsh ride from it? One of the guys from the owners club recommended to lower it about 30/35mm all round. What experiences do other owners have? Cheers. Del.
