i got a little dent in exactly the same place on mine. Its the only one on the car, but its so annoying seeing it there. gonna try dentmaster too.

Make sure you replace the rubber bits (top mounts etc) at the same time. u can get these from somewhere like german & swedish.

Ok Everyone....... This has progressed to the next stage....... Dave has measured up and will be making a "first draft" in the next few days which has been measured around mine. Who wants one? Does everyone have the cold air feed hose sticking in near the front where the back of the headlight is? replies please...... Cheers.

Thanks Kev, You've done a good job of convincing me that Neuspeed has more advantages. Just depends on how much more they will cost than the Eibach. Do you know who i should ring to get a price for supply and possibly fitting them too?

Del's 2p worth.... For uprated Anti Roll Bars, give C & R Enterprises in Nottingham a call, they seem competitive and will supply you with Eibach. I hear Neuspeed is a good make too, but a bit more money.

i wish i had the dosh to do this mod. sounds like just what my VR needs, but sadly, its not something i can afford either. Really look forward to seeing how everyone who IS getting one gets on after they have fitted it. Good luck with the mod guys.

Yep, i dont mind being the 'guinea pig' for this one. Just got to find the person with the template / shape etc and we can get started on it. Im only down the road from you as well Dave, so could work out nicely. Had mine just under a year, and over the time i've had it and made little changes here and there, its just got better and better. I honestly cant think of any other car (other than a 911) that i could want to change it for. I havent driven another car that gives you so much joy from driving. It is a truly great drivers car. I believe you can change them for oval shapes, and coloured ones etc, Was wondering if anyone has done this small mod, and got pictures of it. I think the originals are nice and do the job fine, they just look a bit dated. pics please.

You could try to make one yourself...and quite a few people in here have done succesfully... If i was you, i would save the time and hassle and buy a ready made job from H100VW aka Gavin, as it comes with great instructions, and is ready to fit. As for "is it easy or hard?" i would say definitely Easy. You can do a search in this forum and find loads of info on this mod Hope this helps. PS.... its of the best mods you can do to your car... the difference is well worth any hassles you encounter along the way.

I see! I did kind of gather that thats what it does, and sometimes wondered the same thing about my K&N 57i Induction kit... I have fitted the cool air hose thing so that it can draw cool air when going forward, but obviously this isnt much good when stationary like you say. So how do we get one these shields then? whats it made of and how does it fit exactly? Cheers Thera by the way.

i still want a set of these... seen a few on Ebay but Corrado parts on Ebay go for silly money. Other thought is that i would loose quite a handy space for keeping things like CD's, sunglasses, keys, general stuff! will have to see whether its really worth it or not. they do look seriously cool tho!

The dials are one thing.... but those chrome bezels look awesome too. Can we get them at the same time the dials Andi is working on in the group buy?

Glad to see this thread and the whole idea developing. some of you guys are quite ingenious! i'm impressed... wish i could help! am well looking forward to replacing the dials in my car thru this idea. Its one of the areas of the car that makes it look and feel quite dated.

on a slightly different note, but still talking about the rear wiper.... does anyone else in here think that the push for on and push for off is a little annoying? If you just want to do one wipe, you have to press it twice. it doesnt make a great deal of sense really. Whereas the front wipers have that nice "lift it slightly" for just one wipe feature!
