Cheers Bally. Unfortunately, its been pissing it down most of the day, so just had to fit them back, in the condition they are so far. they dont look awful, just not 100% yet. will have to wait for a dry day, cos car lives outside all the time! Its a pain, cos will have to do the masking process AAALLL over again. Ah well! (the lengths we go to for our cars to look good eh!)

OK, i did them, but didnt want to overspray and get drips. instead, it looks a liitle bit dull, and matt finish. What do i do? Should i just polish whats there? or spray another few coats? cheers. Del.

I think im gonna get a Magnex for my VR, only thing is, dont know where to buy it from. Anyone know whos good on price for these things? Cheers.

I got a set of six, from Volkswares in Leicester. I think they were about £80. They say "BBT Silicone Copper GERMANY" on the leads. They seem fine. The car was misfiring at the time, and i needed it to work properly and urgently, so just bought them there and then without shopping around.

i got the same problem. it seems to happen more when the engine is still cold, and has been happening more than it used to since i had the 57i Induction Kit fitted. Can be really annoying. (i havent had the ECU reset by the way)

im in the process of doing mine right now. done about 4 coats, and still looks a little orange. How many did you coats did your polo need dubster82?

Mine worked fine, when it was -2. Only thing is, it squeaks after the cars been washed, and i have to put a little WD on it! (then i have to clean up the area where the WD40 went on the bootlid and window. no matter how gently you press WD40, it goes every-bloody-where! -

I had a 2.0 16v and gave a newish 911 a real hard time, until it got to the open straights and he'd drive off into the distance, but in 1st and 2nd, i was right with him. And you could tell by the look on his face, at each traffic light we kept meeting, that he wasnt happy that the little Volkswagen was still anywhere near him. I wanna see the same bloke again, now that i got the VR. -

Yeah, with the VR, you get that nice V-6 sound, especially made louder with the addition of a induction kit under acceleation. (And people turn to look and stare in disgust... Wonder if TVR drivers have to put up with the same thing?) Is it true that the supercharger on a G60 needs constant attention? or is that just hearsay?

I always get asked this, and as i have only had a 2.0 16v and a VR6, i dont really know. But people in here must know, and know the differences and pros and cons....

Oooh Yes. that looks well good. and looks like it gives a nice shiny finish as well. How do they work in terms of the colour when they are lit up, and for example when you are indicating? Do they still light up orange?

Made me proud too. Was dying to go for a drive after watching it. Nice comment about not being embarrased, and the other coupes. Maybe Quentin Wilson ought to feature it when he gets round to doing "the cars the star" cos its definitely a worthy contender. After watching that article yesterday, re-afirms that i never want to sell my C.

Thought it might have been a Magnex. Looks good. How does it sound? I got a K&N57i which is loud but wanted a throaty exhaust to complement it, without making too much of a racket.

yeah, i thought that they were like a universal thing, with a corrado badge stuck on. i was concerned that the corrado badge might not be any good, or may fall off. anyone have any experience of it? Whats yours like dazzy?
