I am loving that!!!!!!

It's a state of mind!!!

I recently did a DIY heating system in mine which is at bottom of garden, using an old electric shower and two small towel radiators. Filled the system up and it loops. Can't say it's very cheap but I only use it when I'm working in there.

I genuinely thought the dynamat was a bargain, it makes the whole car feel more solid.when I did the first door I did a slam test and the difference was huge. I then put the stuff all over the place in boot, centre console, behind dash, roof lining and anywhere else where panels touched to make them silent.the car rides over bumps really well, and the sound system quality is much improved as the speakers don't buzz any trim at high volume.

Minor update again,.had a new screen fitted to sort the leak and taxed it so been an expensive month. Looking at getting a longlife exhaust but will have to wait til after payday...

I use Alpine components, check out my member gallery thread

Was thinking the same thing myself, the civic looks enormous!

Mine were screwed in but on my old rado they were just sat in place? Best get rid of the dash speakers completely if your after good sound quality and get some components and fit the tweeters to the little A pillar triangular trims. I did this and the sound quality is much much better!!!

Dash speakers come out by taking the grills off and unscrewing them.

Well after a bit of faffing I have a new screen fitted. The adhesive around the bottom where the damage was had turned to almost dust and the water was slowly seeping around it so when driving the wind pushed it underneath. Left it out in the rain this afternoon and all looks good so far touch wood!! Thanks for the advice guys.

Anyone used these guys for carbon cloth? Is it real CF? I have bought a spare rear spoiler in black and might have a go at it but need a long piece about 2m x 0.4m to wrap it and they seem good vfm...
-
Should be, I saw them bare when the car was repealed and they looked perfect to be honest...
-
I been quoted 65 over the phone to have my screen removed, cleaned and refitted. When the guy sees it Monday if the price goes up I think I'll ring the insurers.....

Hi guys, thanks for getting back to me. The problem is that the rubber isnt being squashed between the missing plastic and the a pillar, the rubber is just wobbling around so water is getting inbetween the rubber and pillar. I have a windscreen guy looking at it Monday and will ask for is to be refitted it if I could also replace the broke trim it would make sure water can't seep between them. The amount of wat getting into the car is tiny, but I want it sorted cos I'm super fussy!!!

Hi guys I need the hard plastic piece broken in the picture on the drivers side. It goes from the bottom to the top corner where it meets the top rubber seal. The tape is preventing water from running behind dash so need it pretty urgently. VW still have it apparently it's 60 squid though!!!! Can anyone help?

Any development on this, I'm thinking about the dub power manifold too but anyone actually running one?
-
Opinions of e36 m3 and would you have one instead of a Corrado
Pete replied to Portent's topic in General Car Chat
I had one after my first vr and after a while the novelty of the power wore off. I had an e46 too it's a far better car,but neither has the charisma of the corrado for me. -
Sikaflex will give you a seal but be warned it takes literally days to go off...
-
I think also a lot of people own corrados because they love them rather than it being the best car they can afford.

I'm watching the arsenal game on espn. Quite funny at half time when the leeds fans right next to the presenter were chanting "espn, your f*****g s**t"!
-
Hiya, I have both I think lol. I have a spare door pin module which has the metal coat hanger type pin going into a white plastic box of tricks. I also have a full c/l pump if that's what you mean? It's encased in rubberised foam. Let me know if it's what you want etc. Ta.

Good news and sounds like good vfm! Only prob I found after my respray was I am paranoid as if it's a new car lol

I find it really interesting that we all drive cars worth, let's be honest, not much compared to new metal but lots are sporting very tasty wristwear indeed. Shows I think the class of the corrado and it's owners hehe. I wonder what the reaction would have been on other forums?
