Nice write up in the Volkswagen Driver mag on the blue Storm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, it's thinner but I didn't remove really any original underseal as it was near perfect. It was only a few edges where the underseal was thin by studs etc where there was slight surface corrosion. All loose underseal was cleaned back, corrosion ground back, treated, protected with Pov15 and then undersealed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi Chris. By stone chip do you mean underseal? If so I used 3M sprayable sealer.

Finally managed to complete the underside! Took 10 times longer then I thought it would. Heating up the wax and wiping it off was a joke, It just seemed to reappear again. Had to treat a few tiny spots of rust under some of the underseal but bolt holes etc but it was pretty damn good under there. Pictures don't really do it justice, it's the same classic green colour but it looks a lot darker. Also has a stunning shimmering effect due to the dimples in the underseal. Cheers mate. I was honestly hoping to have it finished by now. The reason it's not is because I'm so busy which is not a bad thing I suppose.

Taken head shield off of down pipes. Going to treat them to a bit of internal work, mainly where the manifold meets the down pipe and then send them away for some performance heat coating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Finally managed to spend a few hours on the car last weekend. Used TFR on the underside and then pressure washed it. Going to give it a good scrub with warm soapy water next and then heat up wax to remove. This is how it looked before I started. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lol, It will easily fit in place of the rear bench. Going to get some cream leather dye on it soon. I also have a captains chair which I will use instead of drivers seat. Extra comfy then. Have to take out cigar lighter and fit pipe lighter and holder and attach slippers to the pedals. [emoji108][emoji108]

B16. Want a nice comfy ride as never selling this car so need to think ahead as don't want my false teeth falling out when I'm in my 80's. Lol

Not much been happening over the past few weeks as helping build my mates MK1 Focus RS [emoji24][emoji379] and wiring up all his Emtron stand alone management. But I have been doing some shopping.

Hi Dave, sent you a PM

I went for Bilstein B16's. Car still in 100000 bits so not driven yet to comment but I was in the exact situation. Want to adjust height but also want comfort. Don't think you can go much wrong with V3's or B16's. Have fitted both to many cars from MK2 Golfs to RS4's to New Fiesta ST's, all ride extremely well. I can get good price on both if interested?

G60 black interior trims. Make me a offer.

I have complete G60 interior trims. No postage, collection only from Marlow. You will need to bring a van or large car. You can't pick and choose, you take the whole lot. I will post up pictures tomorrow and try to list the majority of what's included. All I know / remember is that there are no seats....I think. Maybe rears only. All will become apparent tomorrow. Make me a offer

Going to use hot air gun to warm up wax so I can wipe off easier, red scotch it and spirit wipe the whole lot. Then get it painted and re wax. The underseal and floor pan is perfect so no need to fully strip back and no repairs to carry out.
-
Hi Dave, can I send you my one for the modification?

Just about to start tackling this
