It sounds like interior. I'll have a look at the pedal cover.

I have a creaking clutch pedal that is slowly driving me mad. Anyone else had this? What have you used to cure it that works but doesn't make a mess or drip on to the pedal rubber. Cheers

Checked my old battery this morning after charging it last night and leaving off charge overnight.......was down to about 10.8v Drives like a different car now, no jerkiness and sounds smoother.

Woke this morning to a flat battery, no warning, just flat. Alternator is charging, possible battery drain somewhere but looking at the condition of the battery I went ahead and bought a new one. So for your information I bought a Bosch Silver 61Amp. This was confirmed by VW this morning as the correct one. Not at £61 + vat it's not :x Phoned round and was told the 61Amp is correct for the C by an independant supplier so I snapped their hand off at £45 + vat. Seems to be working fine now and the car drives slightly better :) Dave

Although I think you've made a good effort with the bumper 8) the modified number plate area on the hatch doesn't look right. I think there should be a line at the top where you've smoothed it off. It just doesn't flow right with the rear lights. You asked........that's my opinion :)

A bit late, but Saturday (26th), I'm shopping in Asda and my mobile rings. It's my 12 year old daughter, she's just spotted a Yellow H plate 16v in Long Eaton, Notts parked in Co op car park. How's that for 'remote spotting' 8) Got her trained well :wink:

How do they measure hp at the flywheel?

It looks good from a distance but there are parking dents and scratches I need to sort. I've got a brother who paints cars at a Ford dealer in Notts, I'm waiting for him to fit me in. Is the KR inlet cam the same as the exhaust? I seem to recall a post stating this. I'm also working on a cold air intake (polished ali) thru the side of the airbox, something I've not seen before. Yes there are intakes thru the original airbox opening but this reduces the duct to about 3/4" maybe 1/2" because of the tight space behind the headlight. See photo.

Design Draughtsman. They have been cut by Laser and chamfered on a lathe and they fit just sweet.
