I've got one off a 94 if you get stuck.
-
I'm breaking a 94 VR so I'll have look for you.
-
What car do you have, not sure if the loom differs from model to model.
-
If I remember correctly the key wouldn't go in as the tumblers were jammed in position. You may be able to soak the barrel with WD40 or similar, might have to do it several times tho.
-
Looking forward to seeing this at Harewood.

As long as there are no problems with the shifter that you send me then I need it for a couple of days. I have had 2 shifters sent to me in the past that I couldn't convert as the main shaft was damaged at the bottom end (at the plastic guide) and this part is now obsolete. I can still convert it but if the plastic guide is damaged then it won't work as nicely as an undamaged item.

OK so you don't need the bezel, thats fine. £30 posted ok? I have tested all three rotary knob/mechanisms before I removed it. Dave

Yeah sure but you are 12th in the queue. The queue is growing ever larger now so if anyone wants to send me their shifter for modifying then you will get it quicker but of course you have to be without the use of your car until I return it. Apologies to those wanting shifters, the speed I can turn these around in depends on the availability of standard shifters. I'm doing my best to source shifters from other places too.

Nice one Chris! Hope you are well. Dave

I've got one, do you need the bezel as well and do you need the knobs as the centre one comes off easily, got a slight break in the plastic.
-
Someone has sent a shifter back to me probably posted Thursday 9th Aug or Friday 10th Aug. There are no sender details on the package so can you please make yourself known to me. Thanks
-
Got a set of these on my VR, surprised how light they are and at 7.5" wide give a lovely stance, perfect in my opinion.
-
Just checked, only got one side I'm afraid.
-
40 and you got a deal?
-
Pics as promised.

Here are the pics. I've removed the loom right up to the fusebox, it also serves the petrol pump, connector block behind the centre console and the OBD interface connector so it's not a straight forward swap. Better to cut and shut. Let me know if this is what you are looking for.

How much posted? I only want the gear stick assembly not the cables as this would push up the cost. Cheers

I've got a pass door that I think is rust free but will need to check. Got sills too but again need to check for rust. All still on the car.
-
Exactly what happened to me, yes water pump.
-
What's more worrying is that someone decided it would be a good idea to design a kit in the first place. Probably knowing that it would sell to 'people'.
-
OK James.

A small selection of shots from the day. My car of the show has to be the Red Audi Quattro, he also owns a Corrado VR6! My new desktop wallpaper is the A380 flying overhead. My new friend is Oscar! Enjoy!
-
Langsam, let me know what you'd like to do.

At the car now and have partially removed the loom but there is no connection at the rear seats, from what I can tell without removing carpets it goes direct to the fusebox. So it's all or nothing unless you want to cut and shut?
