http://www.bugjam.co.uk/virtual2006detail.php?ID=21 I know I know it looks like a way of trying to blag some free tickets but hoenstly I'm tyring to fly the flag for the watercooled VW fraternity by taking the Campaign to BugJam again this year! The C's the only H20 VW on there at the mo!! Cheers and big thanks one and all who vote :) JP

deffo get an acoustic shelf, apart from the sacralidge of cutting an original parcel shelf if you get a decent set of 6x9s with good size magnets on their arses you will end up with a parcel shelf that looks more like a hammock! Also they might not sound as good either! :)

Hmm not sure about the premium of owning one difficult to call really. Obviously owning one myself I would love to think they would be ridiculous money and that I was sat on a goldmine but at the end of the day anything is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it! And yes there were only 6 in the UK but we know for definate that one was written off in the late 90's so there are only 5 left in the world! :)

yep tis leather too, I think theres a whole heard of longhorns gone into the inside of my car!!!! And yes you do need the 8) in there although you get used to it after a while and it always comes up "redder" in photo's. I can be a bit strenuous to drive with a hangover :)

It does have a certain special feeling about it! 8) But then all corrado's are cool cars to own Wouldnt swap her for love nor money, and its quite weird driving around knowing there are only 4 others of that type in existence, does make you drive her with even more care........... Well until you find an open road that is

Not all alcantara is gaudy, IMHO

When audi brought out the lower powered 180bhp version a couple of years ago as a "cheaper alternative" they used a single tailpipe then, and still do today. Thats currently the easiest "quick spot" tell tale sign of a new TT's power.
-
As far as I know there are only 1.8T and 3.2 engines availible for the TT. The 1.8T is based on the standard VW/Audi 20V Turbo engine which is found across the ranges in various forms with just variations in turbo size, chipping and tuning. Most TT's either have the 180bhp or 225bhp version of the 1.8T engine while a few more recent models have the 3.2 lump.

Cheers Toad I may take you up on that one! S3 repairing still underway (looking like an Allroad at the mo due to axle stands!) ran out of time (and light) and the weekend but then again didn't manage to get round to looking at it until late on sunday (probably too many beers on Saturday!), so hopefully a few more hours should have it cracked then she'll be as good as new! :) Back to topic; haven't heard anyone else on hear from Winchester yet so it looks like its just us at the mo! Did see a K plate G60 yesterday up near the Train station, didn't have the in-pro lights on it. There's also a tornado red G plate C in Colden Common, and I also saw a lighter blue K plater parked up next to a field the other day on the junction with the brambridge road, looked like a young lady who was off tending to a horse was looking after that one at the time!! -

it looked pretty clean, but i didn't see the back end, i was already going up sarum road when he came past, guess the guy driving was in his 20's, he waved as i turned off. You from winchester too then? Yours isn't the blue VR usually parked in the station is it? Noooo, mines the Mauve campaign pakred outside my window! :) I dont drive her too much (usually a quick outing once a week)but you may see it around a bit more at the mo as Im having to use it as the S3 died the other day....got to roll my sleeves up this weekedn and commence surgery :( JP -
Ditto, I havent used steve personally but I know a lot of people hwo have and I have met him once or twice. So far I have only heard good things about his work and he's a nice guy to boot! What more could you ask for?!!!

Did it have M3 stylee inpro crystal tailights and was quite tidy? If so I have seen that around winchester a few times down north walls usually or up to the Winnal M3 roundabout. JP -
Sounds about right I'm afraid to say mate :(
-
Id go careful on that one mate, did that myself and ended up with an extra point than I would have done initially and a heftier fine to the tune of £190 more! :( So be warned! :( :( :(

Cloning? Id like to see someone try  .......Jeremy I'm watching you, dont get any ideas about a plate change and some gatso camera trickery! 8)

Couldn't have put it better myself, at the end of the day were all in this for the same reason to keep a true motoring legend alive. I used to own a Mystic Blue storm myself and it broke my heart to get rid of her but needs must at the time. However I would never look down my nose at any C owner regardless of type spec engine size or condition. At the end of the day its all about the car and peeps should leave their ego's at the door and be happy in the fact they are the proud owner of a Motoring Icon be it a run down 200,000mile H plate 8v (no offence to anyone if they have one :)) or a 10k one owner from new VR6 last edition fully loaded C on an N or even P plate. Some peeps need to take a leaf out of the air-cooled community and be a bit more chilled and appreciate the fact its a Corrado at all and that its alive and not rusting in some breakers yard somewhere. ..........dis-embarks soapbox!

NUMBERS??? LETTERS??? ARGGGGGGHHHH!!!! GATSO ANPR SPECS TRUVELO VASCAR FPN blah blah blah So even though I (aim to) drive my C at a law abiding MPH these days after being caught a couple of times on a VASCAR & given a couple of FPN's. I am now liable for another FPN or even a CCJ because my subtly C4M VR spaced number plate upsets the ANPR????? Even though I respect GATSO's TRUVELO's WATCHMAN's SPEEDCURB's TRAFFIPHOT's SPEEDMASTER's & SPEC's!!!!! Why cant motoring just be about BRMM BRMM BRMMM ? thats what I was brought up on as a child!
