    Lights..ARRGGHH!

I've just done mine with the Savage tint stuff, it gets a Sh*tty looking white cloudy effect if you apply each coat of somewhere too cold/with too much moisture (ie. in a garage/outside in this weather!)!! I sprayed mine in the garage, but quickly moved them inside after spraying and put them infront of a heater to let each coat dry.....gives a much better end result

I've just given the S a complete going over with one of the lads!! It's not bad at all underneath! Its got P6000's on all corners that cant be more than a few months old, a complete new'ish exhaust, brakes are good, no nasty rust supprises at all, and everything seems to be where it should be! No oil leaks/water leaks either! Ok, so we found a few things wrong with it.....the inertia reel on the passenger seatbelt is fupped, and the drivers seat doesn't seem to like locking into position (bit of WD40 should solve the problem)! It has new brakepads on the drivers side, but the passenger side pads look like they could do with replacing in a few months! The suspension is also a bit soft, but there are no leaks from any of the shock absorbers themselves! All in all pretty good!...Just have to find myself a seatbelt reel!! :D :D :D :D
  5. Not really!!  ...had a load of work to be doing..and I should have been in my office at 9am though.....was prob thinking about that    I'll keep my eye out for someone in a Polo waving from now on

Yeah......It's not too bad from what I've seen so far! The drivers door has a bit of rough looking paint though (I've cunningly taken the photos so as not to show it  )

This is basically continuing on from this thread: http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33676&start=0 Well I got my £56 Ebay Scirocco delivered to me last night!!.....and gave it a quick once over and a clean this morning! Everything seems spot on!!...There's obviously a few little stone chips and scrapes and the interior could do with a good clean. Engine starts straight up, even in this cold weather, and it runs perfectly! I'll get underneath it tomorrow morning and give it a better going over though!! I was going to take a few shots of the C while I was at this...but it's absolutely filthy!!
  17. Yup...it's deffo a 24mm socket! I had to buy one to remove the s/wheel not that long ago!
  18. Do a search on German ebay (ebay.de) for "lupo Scheibenwischer" There's a load of them on there, I managed to get a RHD set through Germany, and it worked out a fair bit cheaper than UK prices too!!
  19. Sorry to hear that!...I know how pi**ed off I'd be if it happened to my car!! I'm just back from arranging to rent a local garage to keep the Corrado in! It's costing me just over a quid a day!!......Well worth it if it saves me one incident like happened to yours! Try in your local council to see if they have any cheap garages to rent in your area!...It might save you a bit on insurace too!

    Heater matrix?

http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=001112#000003 I removed the matrix myself a few months back!.....it not actually as bad a job as it looks in the guide!! Just leave yourself a few hours to get it all done
  21. Also a good idea!!....the guy selling it seems to be wanting to get rid of it pretty quickly though!
  22. Will they care about the lack of tax though?
  23. Think thiings are geting mixed up here!!....I need to get it from Norwich to slough   Yeah, not sure if it would pass an MOT.....so that could be a prob if I did it straight away in Norwich!!!
  24. The guy gave me a paypal invioce...so I just payed him through that!! But he has just got back to me saying he wants cash in hand though!.....So looks like I'll be out there anyway!!...so I may as well chance driving it
  25.  ...you're probably right!! I've got a few quotes for getting it transported to me, £170 is the best so far
