  1. WOW!!!.....STS suddenly seem very cheap
  2.  ....it's not that bad really! They come well recommended and they did a good job on mine! Cost me £47 two years ago to get the camber and alignment set. Which is prob a bit more than a cheap Kwik-fit alignment. But I figured I was better off getting the job done properly
  3. STS wheel alignment are pretty good...but they aren't exactly cheap!! :? They are based in Bedford..so not too far from you
  4. I only asked about it on friday morning last....and she managed to get me a place by fri eve 8) 8)
  5. Go onto the scally rally forum and send the organiser "Sue" a PM. She sorted me out with a place in an hour or so, just for sounding keen 8)
  6. Cool....good to have a few more rado owners going along too :D :D Think there's also a MK2 GTi and Geo may be bringing an old Jetta....so there will be a few VW's involved 8) 8)

hmmmmm.......that could be it so!......I foolishly put some tesco screenwash in a few months ago
  9. Well....they don't really. They were excellent when I fist fit them! But the blades themselves seem to have worn out in about 2 months :x :x The way they are at the moment I was almost wishing I had my old arms + blades back   Anybody else had any wear problems with them?
  10. Video of the same incident...but shows the aftermath....he's fine (and still two handed)! http://www.brockracing.com/media/brockatco_NEW.wmv
  11. If ye read some of the comments on the video.....it's actaully a NOS detonation causing part of the airbox to blow apart!....and the rider was fine

No real waiting list for it...they have reached the limit of 100 cars for this years rally though. So they are just taking a few more people off a reserve list! Luckily I managed to get one of those places 8) I'm still trying to convince Geo, to bring one of his old Jettas along too :-P

Should be good if the car makes it!! Will be well over 2000 miles in just over a week, when you take into account getting to the start of the rally (Calais) and back from the finish point (Madrid)! Looking forward to it though, should be a good laugh :D :D

  17. Cheers lads anyway!! H8RRA, blondness :D :D :D
  18. Thats more like what I though it would be....I was told in the garage that "I was to do with the steering lock" though.....so clearly the owner was talking through his Ar*e!
  19. Yeah, I'm gonna call down to them later.....I just though someone may have come across this before!
  20. Just got my rocco back from it's MOT, few bits'n pieces need to be done on it. But one of the failure points was..... The guy who actually did the MOT test was out when I went to collect the car, and the garage owner couldn't explain this. So anybody got any idea what this is all about?!?!? The steering lock on the car seems to work fine...and I didn't think that it was an MOT failure even if it wasn't!! Any ideas?
  21. :D ...I have one of each now!! The boot on the rado is slightly larger and deeper than the Scirocco...so if you can get your bike into the rocco, you should have no prob in the Corrado!
  22. I've done it a few times without much trouble....had to remove the front wheel first though! Welcome to the forum btw
