they always declassify alarms as new technology comes along,its just to stop confusion as there would be 100's of alarms on the market otherwise,if they were fitted before the declassified date then the still class them as cat1 -

the brains your on about is just the siren,and the key is to turn the siren off,the brains will be hidden somewhere inside the dashboard -

i thought the 2 sensors on the oil filter housing were for high and low pressures,but there is a temp sender in the side i think

i bought mine from halfords,thought they only dealt with raid bosses,and the later mk2 golf bosses are the same as the mk3,think they changed over 1990 or something like that :?

try using a different oil,my vr used a lot of quantum synta so i swapped to shell helix and its much much better now

ive got turn2 engine mounts on the vr6,they are pretty cheap,but if i had some spare cash i will be getting vibratechnic mounts

i nearly bought one for my old golf,but in the end i just drilled the airbox,and removed the snorkel,stroeve do an induction kit for the kjet,i think eurotek sell them,but they arnt cheap -
matt from designa dubs is a top bloke,what he doesnt know about vr6 engines isnt worth knowing,think he was one of the first ones to drop a vr6 into a mk1 golf
