Sliding Rear particularly under braking - why oh why?
dazzyvr6 replied to Dancing Fish's topic in Archive
get the brakes checked out at an mot station, ask them to put it on the rollers, perhaps ones not working or working to well -
the rear corrado badge is stuck on with pins going into the bodywork
-

A similar product is available for independant's called ETOS See http://www.etos.info ill stick with my free copy etka which looks better than that etos version :)

etka is not available to the general public...only vw dealerships, you can only buy copy etka discs

right, sorted the central locking problem,it was a broken wire on the door switch,as henny and gav said, but the windows still close when i turn the ignition off,and the central locking wont work of the alarm remote
-
they are freely available on other forums, and on ebay
-
getting even stranger now...when i have the windows open and take the keys out they close on there own..and the central locking isnt working at all :?
-
ive just put ebc turbo grooves on mine with green stuff pads
-
1st problem is my engine is overheating, the problem being the cooling fans arnt kicking in, most probably a sensor fault but which one would it be 2nd problem the central locking/electric widow fuse keeps blowing,i had this problem at all types at the weekend,so i had to leave the widows down all night, found the fuse after a lot of head scratching and searching, replaced the fuse but just keeps blowing, sometimes it takes a while to blow, but now the windows work but the central locking isnt...anyone got any ideas...if any of that makes any sense
-
ive done the same to my car a few days ago and getting the same sort of noise..but i didnt replace the shims which i put back on tonight so hopefully that may of sorted it
-
ill be in touch soon gav as a mate wants one for his
-
each to there own,but why spoil the corrado look with a wide arch kit?the look nice enough as they are,if you want to change it slightly then go for front and rear bumpers
-
Some belated Inters pics of the corrado variety for you all
dazzyvr6 replied to GsixT's topic in General Car Chat
nice pics mate, wouldnt mind the engine out of guys car for myself :D -
and put some oil on the bearings before fitting aswell...
-
you can look for tell tale signs aswell, such as gaps between doors, wings etc..and sometimes a dent on the roof, usually above the middle pillar
-
you can change them, but i personally would take it to a body shop and get them to do it as they will have a door pin removal tool, unless you do as i did on my old mk1 escort and hammer a nail in instead
