Hello Chaps, I've been very busy this year and I've not been about as much as I use to be. I thought I'd post some photos of my current project. There should be more to come in the next month as the car is already painted but I'd like to hold back those photos till its all back together again. Also anyone have any good tips on polishing, other than get someone else to do it. Cheers

As far as i know. Wallace Performance is Aberdeen's new Powerflow agent. Gav Wallace has his unit just off Denmore Rd in the Bridge of Don and he should have planty of styles to chose from.

Has to be my Audi Quattro front mount IC on my old G60 and Passat Handles.

I think this one looks good. I think Dubster82 did it for Darren one night. Could be wrong tho. Would be a very nice custom job to get.

Also Darren (G-man) managed to fit a Sprinter IC to his old G60 so it can be done. Drop him a line if you need more info.

How can you tell the difference between the Corrado's 2.9 engine and the Golf's 2.8 just by looking in the engine bay ? TIA

Thats shocking Struan  , maybe you should start thinking about a lock up or something near by. -
Sneeky eh. Thought I'd checked that properly. Thanks Chris, I'll give it a go tommorow.

I tried to remove the door cards on my 93 VR6 and I can't see how to remove the last bit. It seems to be attached behind the top corner or the speaker grills. It looks like the door cards have never been removed from the car before. What am i doing wrong or what have i missed ? I can see a bracket that attaches to the door with two bolts but i dont think they need to come off. Am i just being a biff ? They are leather door cards btw but i doubt that makes any difference. TIA

Thanks guys for all the usefull tips. So it looks like a combination of toothpicks or nice thick wire and quality 3m tape. I'm definetly not going to remove the glass. I'm sure the painter will happy to know a few more secrets. Thanks :-P

Hopefully someone can help me here. At the momment i'm striping my car at the body shop and theres mixed feelings on whats the best way to do the area surrounding the rear quarter glass. The painter wants to remove the glass completely but I know how hard it is to do and its a right b*tch. I remember someone on here b4 mentioning about a 3M product that you can use to put under the seals so you dont have to remove them. Any advice much apreciated. TIA Paul

That looks like the VW Fox they have in Brazil. Not sure if it will replace the Lupo.
