Yeah I bought it white last year. But I knew then it wouldn't stay that colour for long. It was very difficult chosing a colour that wouldn't devalue the car. The entire car has been resprayed apart from the floor. The boot and engine bay is all done.

Thanks guys. The ride height is only like that just now cause im petrified I crumple the rear arches. It will be alot lower once i sort my Design 90's out. The Cup 1's will be going on my brothers 944 later.

Well everybody I've been at this car for ages now. The car first went into the body shop in March this year. I've tried to do as much as possible myself to keep the costs down. Hopefully the car will be down at the RR day at Star on Halloween even if i'm not in the country. Cheers Rodders  Hope you all approve and enjoy.... btw the orange repeaters are now gone.

Cheers Guys, I'll have a looky at it today. Everything else is working fine so its not been too bad.

You need to do two things Chris. Buy a new exhaust hanger. Very cheap. And then if you like attach a piece of rubber around the crossmember. I've cut an old foot mat in the past and then tywraped it onto the crossmember at the area under the exhaust. This will stop the knocking from the back.

They should know what your on about. Any TD Merc Sprinter Van should be the same.
-
No not at the momment Dan. Just try your comercial breakers yards found in the back of Auto Trader etc. Good Luck.
-
You could always try plumbing the Golf one in aswell as your Corrado one. Or just get a Merc Sprinter IC.
-
Dan, if its an IC from a Golf with air con it might be the smaller version which sits in the engine bay beside the battery not a front mounted one. If its cheap thats probably the reason.

Yeah, Slapbladder on this Forum runs a 2ltr 20vT in his MK1 Cabby. :-P
-
 Fantastic Lee, good effort m8 :-P
-
Which base did you go for Lee ? Ones for a 968 or 911/993 ? Also, as far as i know the MX5 ones are around £100 each also.
-
I know GPC sell them brand new for £280 + VAT. Also some Corrado owners have used the DSP bases to get them to fit.
-
Yeah very interested in two VR6 heat shields please. :-P
-
I'd say either keep it. Or buy Mike's and fit a 20vT. The Honda is good but I couldn't live with the Vtech everyday. I drove my mates to and from Crail last year and I had to rev the balls of it to go anywhere. A bit tiring really.

Great work Ben, this is still my one of my top three favorite Corrados. Can't wait to see it in the flesh when its complete. It'll be worth the 500 mile trip to see. -
Come on people! Have we got 25 orders yet. These dials look fantastic. Andi can i pay you using nochex ?
-
Alright Tom, Aye , I've been busy as this year... The aim for the C is just to have a solid chassis, nice rims and a classic paint job. No real engine fetling with this time as a VR is too costly to tune. Just needs to get me to the shops and back !
-
Yes my old Corrado had no sunroof or lecy windows. Just out of interset what model of Passat do you get the glass sunroof from for the C conversion. Henny ?
-
Ah , I'd of thought they'd be a bit too heavy to be exciting. Tho i do like the look of that 350z beside your house.
-
Not quite but not far off. All will be revealed soon. And whats this i hear of you looking at rice rockets? :? Just buy a nice VR mate.
-
Yeah I bought it on ebay on behalf of a mate. High mileage but a bargin all the same. Got us from Aberdeen to London and back again via the GTI festival no problem at all. Managed 444 miles to a tank of petrol. :D
-
LOL I know, you should of seen the tyre fitters face when i asked for 215's on 9's... Im sure Roddy will have something to say too.
